We stayed for a full week at the resort and it was fantastic! We can highly recommend this resort to all type of travellers. Our 4.5 year old son had a blast and enjoyed being outside on the beach from morning to evening. My parents (+70 years old) enjoyed the tranquility and could read a book a day while lounging on the deck overlooking the ocean. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear. The water is very calm which makes it perfect for kids to play and swim. A coral reef for snorkeling is reachable from the beach. The restaurant serves Thai and Burmese dishes and we had 13 out of our 14 meals in their restaurant. It was just so convenient. Food is delicious (especially the Burmese dishes), it doesn't break the bank to order fresh seafood (compared to Bangkok) and we didn't see any big difference to other restaurants (which are in walking distance by the way). The staff is attentive, always friendly and smiling which is another puzzle piece of the special atmosphere at the resort. We also rented a motorbike and explored the island which was fun and provided some change of scenery. It is a perfect location to relax and unwind. After a few days your whole rhythm adjusts to the natural day/night cycle and we usually went to bed pretty much after sunset (and some rounds of ice cold Leo ;)

Beautiful bungalow accommodation, we stayed right on the beach, you can see the sea from your bed :) The bungalows are all newly refurbished, and have hot showers (quite rare in Koh Phayam!) The staff were all really nice, we had chilled drinks on arrival and a meet and greet by very cute dogs! If you are looking for somewhere to really relax this has it all.

Is very nice place , of course the owner(run the property)she is lovely and very helpful. On the front area, is a caffe during the day . The tables on the patio can share with the customers of the caffe. Is not noisy don’t worry . A guitar available. Is a nice choice , meet people and make nice conversations. The Bed was comfortable , I slept my best in Thailand here . Thank you very much

-Very friendly staff. -Great breakfast and large taste dinner portions, the fruit juices are really delicious and large. -Very nice location right on the Long beach. We counted 30 people on the beach at the max, so just Perfect. -Beautiful sunset from the bar and restaurant area. -Quiet but a lot of excotic "jungle" sounds. Birds and so on. - Great sun block products to buy, in the reception area. - Home made brew of a very good quality. Even home brewed pineapple "champagne" and ciders. - Several very interesting people to meet there. Adventureous people. The Ziggy Stardust Resort on Koh Phayam, really made our trip to Thailand! Highly recomendable.

Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island.

Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island. There is no crazy party culture like on a lot of Thailand's popular islands, but there are amazing, kind, open-minded people (lots of backpackers, also remote workers) and every night you can find a party somewhere, in case you crave one. The island offers beautiful beaches and lots of cute cafes and restaurants. You can either rent a bungalow or a dorm room (I 100% recommend Tropical Hostel). The fun thing about Koh Phayam is that you can get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes on your motorbike, making discovery of the island very accessible. It's a beautiful small community and quickly feels like home.

We (my wife and I) booked or 4 days to check it out.

We (my wife and I) booked or 4 days to check it out. Overall we stayed a good 2 weeks, but in other locations that you can find for cheaper. We loved the island for its beauty and laidbackness. It is a great alternative to the tourist hotspots, for families with kids, couples, travellers, and to a certain extent also nightlife-lovers with some weekly parties of Reggae, Techno/House, Psytrance occurring...of course no comparison to Ko Phangan and mainly old freaks retiring here ;-)

What a beautiful, mostly unspoilt island, lovely beaches, jungle and no cars! Laid back atmosphere. The food was amazing, much, much better than in Koh Tao where we are now. Lovely local people. A real gem - let’s hope it doesn’t go the way of Koh Samui and Koh Tao.

Amazing, largely unspoilt island.

Amazing, largely unspoilt island. No cars so get a bike to tour around the island. Visit Hippie Bar Eat at Knock Knock Nok and Sun Resort for excellent fish. Look out for hornbills and sea eagles Take a boat out

The Island is incredible - beautiful, lush and lovely to explore by scootie, cycle or walking. Our fav restaurant was The Kitchen Table run by Chioko. Best brusketta and place to hang with sweet kitties and dogs. Also Flower Power has excellent Italian food. We loved our stay in Bamboo Bungalos. Can’t wait to go back! Pure heaven.

The property is in the perfect location. The beach is right in front of you and you have several options for beach bars and restaurants. However the food at barefoot is amazing. They have a big menu and everything I tried was fresh and very tasty. The staff is the best! Super helpful and so sweet! They make you feel right at home. The bungalows are super modern, great bed and spotless clean! Would stay here every time again!
