This was the best stay I could have wished for. Saima is a gem, she treats you like a close friend, the flat has everything you need, the bed is comfortable and the heating was already on although temperatures were between 14 at night and 20 C during the day. I'm very much looking forward to my next stay in three months.

The host and his communications was exceptional ( above and beyond ) during all my travel experiences ( +20 countries ) I haven’t met a family / host as nice as this host. He offered to come to the airport which is not far from the location ( 10 min drive ) to help with the luggage with his personal pick-up car to avoid dealing with the taxi drivers and drove the luggage back to the airport in the morning. Its my first time staying outside of the city centre and will never go back to the city centre if i can manage to book with him again The location is amazing/safe/ walking distance to grocery / restaurants The apt’s very clean / spacious/ comfortable beds Great value for money I would rate this place 100/10 if i could

We had a great stay despite booking on very short notice.

We had a great stay despite booking on very short notice. Mr. Zouari was extremely proactive and even offered to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived, he was already waiting with welcome drinks and sweets, which was a very nice touch. After a short, pleasant conversation, he kindly let us rest, knowing we were continuing our journey early the next morning. The next day, he surprised us with an amazing breakfast — truly outstanding hospitality. This stay perfectly reflects the warmth and generosity of Tunisian guest hospitality. Excellent experience overall. I would definitely book again. Thank you, Mr. Zouari.

I was met at the airport quite late at night with the plane...

I was met at the airport quite late at night with the plane being more than 2 hours late. The host couldn’t do enough for me, big breakfast, all my laundry and ras me back to the airport. I would certainly recommend him.

Ariana is a lovely area about 20 minutes from Tunis.

Ariana is a lovely area about 20 minutes from Tunis. It was safe. Plenty of stores, restaurants, bars, bakeries, ice cream shops. However, people need to stop throwing trash all over the place. Too many smokers as well. People smoked inside restaurants, offices, everywhere which was a turn-off

There are loads of good restaurants around.

There are loads of good restaurants around. Helpful people who speak english- in fact most tunisians speak english and enjoy speaking it. They will go out of their way to assist you and will not expect anything in return. Most people rejected any remuneration for assistance- people are generally kind and honest. Just remember to ask the taxi drivers to turn on the meter- if they know you are a foriegner, you may find yourself paying far more than the locals and fixed prices would be set. You are free to turn these taxis down and wait for others. Fortunately, there are loads and most are pretty honest.
