This is a lovely hotel in Tozeur right in the town centre but on a quiet street. The design mixes traditional brickwork with modern decor all in desert tones and was very lovely. The staff was excellent and spoke great English and were helpful. We booked a tour to the oasis areas through them and that was excellent too - the driver had a nice SUV and drove safely. We thought the breakfast was great - fruit, dates, a basket of breads and pastries, homemade jams and honey, eggs, yogurt, juice and coffee - nothing to complain about as it was quite delicious and served on a lovely patio.

The hotel was well located close to the Airport. The lady in the Reception ( Besma ) was very professional, nice and best smile ever, good presentation uniform clean and badge visible. She was always helpful and answered all my queries, she is an asset for the chain Mouradi. Bar staff polite and professional ( specially Otman ). I would recommend the hotel, definitely will go back

Beautiful authentic house with a lovely courtyard, good equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice comfortable living room in a quiet part of Tozeur. Moustapha was very helpful and kind, all the tours he organised for us were absolutely amazing and started on time, we felt very much at home and we’ll be back any time soon.

Staying here is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert.. magical. Everything was great. Beautiful decor with an artistic touch , neat and tidy , ample towels for shower and swimming , personal attention from the staff , comfortable beds , spacious room, plugs at your bed to charge your phone, strong water pressure in the shower and strong air conditioning. It’s quiet and peaceful with zero noise from the bustling town yet you are a 10min walk from the Medina. We arrived on the public holiday for their prophets birthday and were treated to the special dessert that all Tunisians eat on this day. Breakfast was a treat with our table set up outside under the trees and for the coffee lovers , great coffee. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice and well-kept property, built in the local style. Unique place with a unique atmosphere in the heart of the medina. Wonderful garden with a swimming pool and where everyone can find a spot to relax. Very pleasant terrace on the top floor. The property also provides breakfast and additionally paid meals such as dinner. Very nice host who will help you with any problems during your stay.

Living in the home of Mr and Mrs Rabah was a treat: We were truly made to feel at home. Although we had our own space and privacy, we benefitted from the warmth and reassurance that if we needed anything, nothing would be too difficult to organise. Mr Rabah kindly organised the excursions we wanted to go on beforehand and provided extensive advice on the route's planning even taking the time to have several long conversations before our arrival. All had been arranged by the time we arrived. The breakfasts were banquets and we had long conversations about all sorts. Although we didn't have dinner, Fatima offered to cook for us. I loved Tozeur, the people, the dry climate and the local community feel. Do not look anywhere further than Dar Fatima!

A busy bustling oasis town on the edge of the desert, it's not touristy just people getting on with their daily lives. No pressures, no hassle, no problems. There is desert tourism and many tours are available if required. Eden Palm - a date palm plantation just to the south of town is interesting with a guided tour and tastings.

Tozeur is a great place to explore the desert (Mos Espa and Ong Jmal areas). The oasis is great for walks, medina is quite nice and relaxed, and there is Dar Cheraït museum - probably the most extravagant museum I ever visited (in particular the journey through Tunisian history).

Tozeur is a city far in the southwest of Tunisia close to the border of Algeria. It has the biggest palm forest in Tunisia where you can walk or ride a bike. It is a must visit destination for Star war lovers because of Mos Espa, a tour worth having. There are also two oasis as well as two flooded villages worth visiting Tamerza and Chebika. Be careful as some tours won’t allow you to visit Tamerza. The private tour with locals in Chebika it’s a waste of dinars 😂. Walk around Chebika on your own. It’s the same thing and you will enjoy it nonetheless. The cascade it’s not a big deal for european travelers but as water is rare to find in places near the desert, for locals its supposed to be a super nice sightseeing. It is included in all tours so just enjoy it. Finally I believe that two days are more than enough for Tozeur. So it’s better to book a day tour that includes all the destinations mentioned above (the oasis , Midas canyon -only for photos and Mos espa and Ong jemel) and have one day left which is more than enough too, to explore the city.

Excellent location and facilities and very pour service. The service and the availability of the items on the menue were deceiving. Most drinks were missing. Poor understanding of orders and the content. And the most appalling is that some staff didn't even bother responding to our requests and when complaint they informed us that the concerned staff will contact us which ofcourse never happened. This hotel is an amazing shell without content.

I went there for Star Wars, and got soooo much more out of...

I went there for Star Wars, and got soooo much more out of the place. Our guide took us around and we saw things I never dreamed of Mother Earth or (wo)man being able to produce. It was amazing. Chebika, desert, Tameza, climbing the camel and I can continue... In Tozeur the center is normal Tunisian buzzing without being agressive-buy-from-me. Had some trouble finding a nice place to eat, but the food we found was high quality and the prices absolutely agreeable.

We stayed at Dar Tozeur for 6 nights. Categorically one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Initially messed up booking and arrived a day before our scheduled check in, they were efficient and friendly getting room ready for us and made us feel welcome. Spent most of the morning exploring Tozeur and then come back and relax by the pool all afternoon, it is a sanctuary in the middle on Tozeur. Ate in 2 nights which was excellent food and service. Great value for money and a truely beautiful Dar.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful riad in Tozeur. The riad is a historic palace located in the heart of the medina yet a peaceful oasis to escape to. The riad is beautifully decorated and furnished. We particularly liked the terrace where breakfast was served in the morning overlooking the swimming pool and the courtyard. There is a small massage room at the riad and the owner arranged a great massage upon our request.
