Overall Rating 10/10 The reception staff were friendly and kind, creating a very pleasant experience. The furniture was comfortable and added a sense of relaxation during the stay. The location is excellent right in the heart of the market and very close to the bus station. All essential services are nearby, with a 7/11 just a few steps away. The place is ideal, note that it is located on a slight downhill slope, just before the last shop on the left. A wonderful stay overall everything was exceptional, and I highly recommend it.

We loved everything. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Imagine waking up to a beautiful sunrise, and heading out to dig into an amazing spread of food made from their own farm, and once you're full to head aside and have tea with the owner. It's perfect.

It was a very warm and authentic stay! The location is very good for beatiful hikes and watching the mountains and sunrise. The nature is beatiful and thr climate is very mild. The landlady gave me also a great tasting of tea. Thank you so much!

Nice , cozy wooden room with Japanese style bed. Mattress a bit thin but firm bed rack so no problem at all. Bathroom is clean and comfort with L'Ccitance shower set The Lady boss is super nice ,she took us to Fenqihu station with her car. You can arrive at this hotel easily by taking bus 7322 from Chiayi or Alishan transfer station. The bus stop name is Wangfeng. In the living room, there is coffee machine, Alishan tea sachets and hot/cold water dispenser available 24/24 but no Microwave. If they have a microwave to heat up the food anytime that would be great! The house is 8-10 minutes walk to Shizhao, the main bus stop with 2 big convenience stores and restaurants.

I loved the warm hospitality of the owner, and the fact that we were staying right above their tea house made the experience even more special. The owner took us to his tea farm, where he shared his knowledge about harvesting, different types of tea leaves, and his journey to becoming a business owner alongside his wife. It truly enriched the entire experience, and I definitely learned a lot more about tea.

If travelling with older folks (>50y/o above) who are not...

If travelling with older folks (>50y/o above) who are not used to strenuous physical activities, I would recommend 3d2n stay in the area so that they can fully enjoy Alishan without feeling rushed, especially after the long winding drive up. Apart from the Alishan national park itself, I'd highly recommend going for the tea trail/ sakura trail/ mist trail around Shi Zhao Tea plantations in the morning if the weather is good.

Breeze area with nature forest and Alishan tea hills. Must visit! Really a recharge to be there. If you have time stay there 2 nights at least to explore the area and unwind yourself in the nature. 1 night is still too short.

Back to nature.

Back to nature. It has a lot of walking trails with awesome views. Love the tea oil Chicken and fried stream shrimps. Best to rent a car or book for private transport to travel around Alisan as the interval for public bus iS at least half an hour.

This is a lovely place that feels like a home. It is Warmly and beautifully furnished. The room and bathroom are very big and pleasant. The mountain views from the rooms are as good as many of the lookout points in Alishan. The breakfast and dinner is elaborately prepared almost like a Michelin Star restaurant. The owners treated us like a friend that is staying with them.

This accommodation is an amazing place. There is enough space and the environment is beautiful! The host is very friendly and can speak some English. She is willing to tell you a lot of information about her culture, which was very interesting. We really liked the breakfast and the high mountain oolong tea.

Rooms were stunning, we were giving a quick tour of the tea plantation on arrival which was very interesting. All the fixtures were of excellent quality, they have put a real effort to present a beautiful place to stay. Hands down our favourite place in Taiwan.

An absolutely beautiful home with incredible hosts. They really helped ensure we were comfortable, assisting us with arranging transport to go watch the Alishan sunrise, as well as making sure we got to and from the home with ease.
