This is an exceptional hotel in the centre of the city with a subway 100meters from hotel. Customer Service was the best, nothing was a problem with complimentary snacks in the morning & afternoon & evening in the lobby!! Rooms were ultra modern & spacious! Worth coming back to this hotel- exceptional!!

Everything, especially the semi ala carte buffet breakfast, shuttle service to and from ZouYing HSR station, bathroom with nice tub, automatic WC, complimentary mini-bar in room, and comfortable bed. Walking distance to subway station. Was pleasantly surprised that a hotel staff in smart uniform met us on the platform of the HSR station to help with our luggage when we arrived.

Great hotel. It is well-situated in the city centre. The room was very large, clean, with a shower and a bath. The staff was adorable and spoke perfect English, which is rare, in case you’re struggling with mandarin. The hotel offers a free laundry room, a space to work out and a free snack and drinks bar. I have nothing to complain about, which is also rare.

Great rooms, close to metro and light rail, very friendly staff, the rooftop terrace was amazing in the night. 7-Eleven and Family Mart in front of the hotel made it easy to charge the Easy card or get some light breakfast if you want to skip the full hotel meal.

    Kaohsiung has been , like Bilbao in Spain, considered for long time as an unattractive city, industrial and polluted, boring with no cultural life. These past decades the city has improved considerably, reconnected with the sea, remodeling ancients docks, building concert halls , museums, etc.. It is now a very pleasant city that attracts more and more people from Taipei who are looking for a less stressful life and a better climate. The public transportation is very good and you are close to beaches and hills with a lot of trails if your like outdoor sports. I will recommend a visit to this city for sure.

    With the MRT, easy to move around.

    With the MRT, easy to move around. There are wide footpaths for people to walk safely. Some of the smaller local restaurants do not have menus in english which makes it hard to order. Overall, a very organised city.

    Kaohsiung is a really cool city with very good public...

    Kaohsiung is a really cool city with very good public transport, food, art. I'm sad I didn't spend some more days there rather than in Hualien, where I extended my trip, but it was consistently rainy and many naturalb things were still closed from the earthquake. Kaohsiung has enough size to be a real city with a real "southern" feel. In the day though, it always seems to be crazy sunny like UV 11 - so factor that in.

    I was really surprised about the city.

    I was really surprised about the city. I didn’t have time to do all that I wanted. Also outside the city. Swimming with turtles was sooo great, and I could have done it much longer. Lots of colorful fishes as well. The best snorkeling trip so far. Hood place to visit!

    Convenient transportation via bus or metro.

    Convenient transportation via bus or metro. Great food with low price. Many interesting secret sightseeings to explore. Though the sidewalks for pedestrians still need quite some improvement. Usually occupied by vendors and motorbikes. Once away from the stations, need to walk on the road with the cars and motorcycles very close.

    Great city to visit, Lotus pond great to walk around with beautiful intricate details in some temples. Cijin island was great for exploring with the old fort and lighthouse. The Port area using the Light rail and walking was cool with the old wharf sheds turned into an art shops , cafes and sculptures.

    This is a hotel located in the city center, close to the MRT station and opposite a convenience store. It is very convenient for pedestrians and the staff are very polite. Although the room is not very new, it is very clean and quiet at night. I live very comfortably and sleep well. I like the enthusiasm of Kaohsiung and the warmth of this hotel. I will come back again.

    It is my first time in Kaohsiung. This hotel is under renovation, locating in the centre of city. All are clean & tidy. By introduction of Sanrio, it makes this hotel young & shiny. The receptionist, Ma. Emma Wong shows her professionalism, trying to settle my problem on early getting up and go for long drive to Taichung, thanks again for her patience and efforts

    Free icecream, drinks and snacks for 24hrs, free drink voucher, free laundry facilities, close to Kaohsiung station, luggage storage, breakfast had a lot of variety. Strong water pressure and this was the only hotel in Taiwan that i stayed at that has hair conditioner. Customer service was good too. Nice view from the room.

    Hotel is super close to Kaohsiung station and only 10-15 min walk to Formosa Boulevard MRT station for the other line. Could choose two breakfast options each night for the following morning and all were delicious. Personnel really friendly. Room is spacious and comfortable. Aircon available.
