Friendly and supportive staff. Perfect clean room with large bathroom and great lake view. Localized at the main street, very close to the pier, walking distance from cable car. In other words, perfect spot for a few days trip to SML. Plus, daily shuttle to Taizhong HSR station

Outstanding service from the staff, they offered advice on how to get to different locations around Sun Moon Lake. They were quick to provide solutions when things arise and they notice fine details and provide solutions before we even ask. Would definitely visit again not only for the view but also the great accommodation and service

Excellent location, close to Shuishe wharf to catch ferries (10 min walk). Plenty of complimentary bikes at hotel and we used them to do the bike trail too (I do note it is shoulder season so maybe this changes during peak). Breakfast was included and it was delicious and abundant. Our room had a spa and tatami mat area which we did not expect! Balcony view of lake was great too. Courteous staff (Eugine).

Stayed 2 nights at Hotelday Sun Moon Lake. The hotel is strategically located next to Sun Moon Lake and it is opposite the Wenwu Temple. The round the island public bus stop is also in front of the hotel makes it a very convenient place to stay. The hotel design is a mixture of modern contemporary and Chinese influences. Very cozy and comfortable. They provide breakfast and "supper" for most of the rate plan, however the "supper" has a very limited variety and it is only open from 8.30pm onwards.  The room was cleverly designed, with the shower and WC separated and the vanity was located outside.  My room was located at level 2, though there was a balcony but there was no view, blocked by all the trees. If you prefer to have room with view over the lake, you have to book higher floor otherwise it is as good as not having a balcony. There is a roof top bar on level 7. The view was amazing, minimum spend per person is required. Generally, it was a pleasant stay.

Great location, 0 meter to night market. 50 m from Ita thao peir and 500 m from cable car. Parking is 20 m away from hotel. Parking is a bit narrow but the hotel staff is ready to park for you. View from the room is awesome.
