I extended my stay—twice—because it was just so wonderful and comfortable! Host Lameck is so friendly and worldly; I loved meeting and chatting with him. The house is gorgeous, in the elegant suburb of Mbweni, and the room is cavernous, clean, and with a stunning view from the massive balcony that I loved taking in every day. The staff took care of everything and made it feel like home. The area is quiet as it’s more residential, but incredibly safe—I felt fine walking around myself at night. Like many properties in the area, payment in cash is preferred—so take out enough!

Room small but comfortable. Kitchen facilities and decor good. Price is good value and goes towards supporting a children's charity operating in Bagamoyo working with orphans and disabled children. Definitely a good travellers place to stay near town and beach.

This was my second time staying at this lodge and I came to realize that there's a lot of renovation taking place like the furniture, amenities, and internet, the rooms were so clean and very comfortable, and the staff (Noel) was incredibly helpful, Amazing rooms (there was even a Flat TV and Free Wi-Fi now), and the internet was very good with 5G speed. Excellent location is located at the city center, at an affordable price in which is very cheap. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Bagamoyo.
