We really loved our stay here. The staff is very accomodating and helpful and the fresh seafood was wonderful everyday. The beach is quiet and beautiful to go for a swim.

What an unexpected gem at the end of our holiday. It only has 3 rooms with amazing view and lovely staff. Our 3 year old daughter loved Ali who was so kind to play we her constantly. We stayed here 3 nights which was perfect because it is very secluded. Perfect for chill and some excursions. Food was lovely too. Thanks all!

When looking for a genuine, immersive and take it is experience Kitu Kiblu is a great choice to take. We spent a wonderful week there and are enthusiastic of all facilities and people; everything is exactly as described in the profile. Accomodations could be choosene to be more discreet (on the trees) or more common and we strongly suggest the second option; apart from an incredible quality/price ratio the whole experience deserves to be done! We appreciated so much to have shower in the jungle surronded by palm leafs and accept a rope is the door for the toilet (yes, it's true and frankly speaking all is priceless!!!!). All the description look a bit as only for brave and indeed this "return to the basic" is exaclty what I think it should be experienced to understand we don't need that much to feel happy, just go back to the essential and appreciate!!! People have been very friendly and inclusive and did their best to let us feel welcomed and help for local activities.

Basecamp is a beautiful place to stay on Mafia Island! The property is so stunning with views of the ocean and access to the beach. Our stay was very comfortable with lovely beds and bedding, our room was very clean and recently updated. The staff were all extremely welcoming and tended to our every need. We were greeted with a coconut to drink out of upon arrival as well as some local fruits. The breakfast was great with freshly made eggs however you like. The lunches and dinners were also really tasty. There is a bar at the pool, beach and restaurant which was convenient. The pool has a nice view of the ocean as well. The shuttle service from the airport was timely and convenient. We saw whale sharks snorkeling! We had our laundry done and folded, which was great. Our room was upgraded free of charge as there was availability, which was such a nice surprise as it has never happened to us before. Overall an amazing stay at a beautiful hidden gem, book it!!

This is a very new place focussing on diving excursions with two very well equipped cabins. It is situated in the beautiful marine park area where scuba diving is exceptional. The area is not overrun by tourists and the cabin is a very cosy and restful place. Enjoy one of the evening cocktails, prepared by the friendly staff or relax at the poolside. The service and staff were wonderful, very attentive and helpful. Free bikes so we could go into Utende which is 10 minutes away. Very nice gardens and grounds. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Great food and juices. Only 2 rooms so feels boutique.
