Words cannot describe this place, you have to come and experience it for yourself! After our safari, we were exhausted, but also longed for some activity before continuing on to Zanzibar. That's why a few days in Moshi was exactly the right decision for us! We have not regretted this decision: Tulivu Retreat lives up to its name: we were really able to switch off 100% and enjoy our time here. Never before have we been so warmly welcomed and never before have we stayed in such wonderful accommodation. The pictures can't do the place justice, it's just incredible: from the architecture of the houses, the decor, the fantastic food and the extensive tropical gardens. I'm sure you won't find anywhere else in the area that is as beautiful. The activities we booked (mountain bike tour in the "Rau Forest", hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka Hot Springs) were also just great. Too bad we couldn't stay longer: There is so much more to see and we would have loved to extend our stay. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

The staff are happy and helpful. It is well cared for and very clean. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is all freshly cooked and well presented. It is a calm and caring place to stay. We had a lovely visit and highly recommend it.

I loved everything about this hotel from the way it looks to the lovely staff and Gabriel the nice owner and the great location. Also the food is very good something that is hard to find in tanzania.

Peaceful oasis in the middle of Moshi, with great food and view on Mount Kilimanjaro. Spacious African rooms and nice swimming pool. A beautiful villa in the nature around Moshi. The owner and team are great - super friendly and professional. Although the place is still in process of being finished, it's already beautiful now. We found it very clean with a lovely style and a very home-like feeling. The pool is a very nice plus and we were able to work remotely with stable internet. After our initial stay we first extended and afterwards even returned. The place is a bit outside, but only a less than 2 EUR ride away from the center. Also the team is going help you with arrangements as required.
