We really liked the hotel itself – beautiful surroundings, a nice pool, excellent cuisine, lovely authentic bungalows, and wonderful staff, especially Esther, who was always cheerful with a big smile, the delicate Melania, and, complementing these lovely ladies, the wonderful Julius. The hotel also arranges excursions, and we went on the Blue Safari. We were lucky to get private tour just for my husband and me, and it was cheaper than group tours offered elsewhere. We highly recommend it. We wish the owner Anick (conductor of a magnificent orchestra) continued prosperity for this wonderful place. Thank you for everything. Karina and Simba

The stunning sea view, the amenities, the people working there, food was nice with always a local option. They do everything for you to relax, forget everything else. After a week crowded Nungwei beach we have spent there 6 unforgettable days! This was the one of the top hospitality experience ever! The location is quite stunning with direct access to the beach, sleeping in wooden caban with toilets and shower. The bungalows are so unique and cosy, simplicity and elegance are the right words to describe. They offer lunch and dinner in a restaurant with a single menu though that changes everyday, usually rice with fresh fish. All the local staff and the massai working there are very friendly and helpful. If you look for something natural, we would recommend.And no need be scared about the bush babies in the night, they are so sweet ;)

Beautiful place, relaxed vibe, staff were super friendly. Room right on the waterfront. Loved all the various lounging spaces. Free kayaks to paddle around in. So glad I took a chance on a South coast beach rather than the more popular Northern/Eastern beaches - this place was perfect.

We had wonderful days in Salida Beach! The garden is very peaceful and quiet. We were in Kizimkazi for 4 nights and we didn't leave the property because we felt so well and happy there, with the sea right in front of us, and the most gentle staff we met! Sophie is a great cook: we had the most tasty juices, breakfasts and lunch made by her! The best of all was her smile everyday. She was always in a good mood and ready to work. She also cleaned the room everyday and put her love in the decoration with the bath towels! Everyday a beautiful surprise from her magical hands! :) Manka was the one welcoming us and she was also constantly asking if we needed something, very sweet of her! :) We miss them already and we for sure will be back to see them and sleep in the super-comfortable bed, s pacious room, clean, new, with its balcony where we use to spend some time reading or just enjoying the view! :) We totally recommend your stay in Salida Beach, a new project that will for sure be very well known in Zanzibar! Congratulations to the very welcoming owner who shared his passion with us! See you soon!

Everything about Aya Beach Resort feels like a dream. The setting is absolutely marvellous, the staff is super welcoming and adorable, the service is great and the food very good too. We loved the location for diving and fishing, it was perfect! We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the place.

It was my birthday and I was surprised with a cake and staff sang for me including the live band during dinner.Very thoughtful and nice of them. By the time I retired to my room,another surprise was waiting. They made up the bedroom beautifully with flowers and candles and wrote a happy birthday with my name. The manager Rakeesh ( I hope I spelt his name correctly) was also very nice and arranged some entertainment at The Pavilion Restaurant . Upon checkout,we had missed breakfast and Benjamin was kind enough to offer us pizza. Thank you to all the staff at The Residence. You made my stay beautiful. Also the privacy of having your own pool was really nice.
