I loved that Eddy contacted me, confirming my reservation as soon as I made it. On arrival, the staff were incredible and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. I arrived pretty late, but they waited so I could get in with no issues! To say the villa is gorgeous is an understatement. The space is breathtaking, and the view is unmatched. The villa sits perfectly between the airport and Stone Town, so getting around is easy. Eddy and the team were always available to answer any questions and make recommendations! The only mistake I made was booking only one night!!!! Incredible!!!

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Tembo House has a very good location, near the seaside and very close to the Freddie Mercury museum! It has a private access to the beach with confortable seats.
