amazing people, amazing interior, best stay during our trip in Zanzibar. next time must have is to take an option with included breakfast, we were sad that we did not choose this option. room nr. 1 was amazing, our best recommendations to our friends and everyone. super location, you can walk for few hours, than come back and go for a walk again, because everything is very close and you do not need to leave the hotel for all day.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

To be honest I didn’t expect so much from this hotel, but the room was perfect, very clean and not a lot noise at night. The staff… I don’t have the right words, but they are the best, they made me feel like home. I had some flight changes which means taxi changes, changing from plane to ferry and everything.. they went out of their way to help me as much as they could! 10/10 would recommend

At arrival, the staff was welcoming; check-in was easy. I loved the quick responses on the Booking.com chat box. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was really good. Actually, once inside the hotel, you can not tell you are near the busy streets of Stone Town. The AC was also working very well. I loved the paintings in the hallways, and the decor gave a nice, authentic Swahili/Arab royalty vibe. The hotel's location is good, with easy access to local restaurants and the market, and the ferry. It is 10 minutes from the airport. The pool was clean, and the garden was well-kept. I loved the complimentary birthday cake; it was so lovely of you. I will surely book the same place when in Zanzibar.
