The hotel is brand new, exceptionally clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, very well sound proofed. the room was serviced twice a day. the pool area is fantastic and relaxing, you can order snacks directly at the pool. Breakfast was superb! Staff are helpful and friendly.

The Garten Living is a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect with the beach and restaurants within walking distance. At the hotel, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the garden, and the nice spacious room with the ensuit bathroom. But most of all, we fell in love with the enthusiastic and motivated staff of the hotel. They all went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our room was always clean, and everything we needed was taken care of. Zanzibar has its challenges with electricity, but the hotel staff works with great perseverance around this. Visiting Zanzibar made us realize how privileged a lot of us are in the world, and it humbled us in every sense as a traveler. Zanzibar will always have a special place in our hearts, and this is especially because of staying at The Garten Living.

This was a remarkable experience and everything was perfect. If felt like a 5 stars boutique hotel ambiance. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, the breakfast was very rich, tasty with quality ingredients. The team including Plil was super kind and patient to all our needs but above all there was Anna - the manager of this diamond place . She is AMAZING lady that other than her management and hospitality skills, have a great personality and in parallel to her full devotion to make her guests happy with her high class Italian standards, she is helping local children to have proper education. A truly remarkable place with a real magic that wins any other luxury hospitality that you can think of. Thank you Anna!!!

Special request was to do something special for the honeymoon couple. Room was upgraded on arrival, they were also given a complementary couples neck and shoulder massage and later in the week also a complimentary snack trya at the pool. 5 Stars does not even being to rate the staff and establishment. We liked everything about the property. Location is number 1 as it is 3 min from the beach and it is really safe walk where you do not need to pass through any local markets with being disturbed. Right on the beach you can find beach seats for free or with some fees that you can use as payment for drink or food. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. I have got fever and they brought for me to the room tea, soup and let me eat inside. They advised places to go for buying fruited and good pharmacy. The pool is gorgeous. After long day at the beach or excursions you can enjoy your evening next to it. There is a massage available for the guests with reasonable price of 19.9 USD and it is just amazing and super relaxing. We really had a good time at Mem Luxury Apartments and hotel.
