The pictures on Booking.com didn’t do it justice! It was a little gem and we loved it! We initially booked it for 2 nights and ended up staying 8. The breakfast was fantastic, the best we had in Tanzania! The owner Abdul was wonderful, very charming, friendly and helpful. The staff are very friendly too. Would highly recommend! It was very relaxing and quiet and a short walk to the best beach on the island. We had stayed in Nungwi and Matemwe before however this stretch of beach had a huge sandbar which meant you could swim all day and NO sea urchins! Great little restaurants nearby. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Paje and Jambiani, but a short tuk tuk ride to them.

In a quiet tranquil part of Jambiani, great for relaxing. Room is spacious, bed comfortable, black out curtains. Basic but clean bathroom. Large balcony, shaded with furniture. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Beach is clean and safe with no hassle. Swimming possible at high tide in morning and afternoon. Breakfast is very plentiful and the dining area very pleasant with cooling sea breeze. We had a very enjoyable stay and wish it could have been longer.

Exceeded my expectations, starting with the warm smile and exceptional services from everyone. I booked the room just to be next to my friends who are staying at the next hotel which considered as five stars (THE NEST). And my friends got surprised that the location is very close to their Hotel and even stated that services, food, people and the tours arranged by Mem Luxury Apartments are the best in Paje.

Absolutely amazing hotel with comfortable rooms and an outstanding view. As there is only 4 rooms make the stay very comfortable and intimate. The staff is exceptional and made our stay unforgettable. Moreover, they were very helpful in terms of arranging several trips as well as taxis into Jambiani and Paje village. Besides, the pool, food and drinks were great. We can only recommend staying at Villa Bluu.

Our stay at Zula was wonderful. Right at the beautiful beach. Clean ocean without algae, sandy bottom. A small private "beach" where no beach boy will come to you. Breakfast very tasty, served. Juice, you can choose from a small menu - how you want eggs, pancakes, they have great sausages, fruit. All staff very helpful, smiling. Bindi especially stuck in our minds! The hotel offers free refilling of cold drinking water at the reception to your own bottle. When you see the plastic waste everywhere, you really appreciate it. We had a room on the floor above reception, with the most amazing ocean view we ever had. It was spacious, clean and very quiet. The air conditioning worked in the evenings, otherwise a ceiling fan was available.

This is a beautiful oasis in Jambiani. It only has 7 rooms which makes it a very quiet and peaceful experience. The staff are amazing, big shout outs to Alfonso and the lady behind the bar, and of course Marisa for tending to our every needs and Simone for his delicious food. The rooms are modern, breezy and clean with large balconies. We loved lounging by the pool on the day beds whilst watching the dog and cats 😊 less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Highly recommend getting a massage here too. If you want a luxury, personal stay at a great price then come to Aurora!
