I stayed in BaraBara for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are simple yet carefully designed, with a lot of small details that help make it a comfortable and cozy stay. I also liked how they included many upcycled items. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options to choose from. For dinner, the restaurant serves pizzas which I highly recommend you try, it was one of the best meals I had on the island. The highlight of this place though is the staff, they are so welcoming, kind and give a lot of attention to their guests. The location is also very practical with many little shops around and the beach within a 10min walk.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly. The room was big, AC and a ceiling fan made the room cool. I was on the 1st floor, overlooking the pool. They have a good choice of food and drinks available in the open-air restaurant, at the best prices you can find. A short walk leads to the beach, which is stunning, a white sand paradise with lots of kite surfers. Picture perfect.

We really enjoyed our time at The Garden. We were at The Garden for 5 nights and were impressed by the beautiful facilities, the lovely rooms and the incredibly friendly staff. What we particularly liked was that the very loving complex is quite small (only a few rooms and therefore few guests), the super nice pool in the middle of the complex and the cleanliness, which is obviously very important. We would like to especially emphasize the excellent breakfast. Every morning we could choose 2 dishes per person out of: Zucchini frittata, Avocado toast, Humus with pita bread, banana bread, muesli with fresh fruits, fresh fruits - everything was of incredibly high quality, tasted excellent and was very lovingly arranged (see photos attached!). In addition, we had a fresh fruit juice plus coffee or tea. Nowhere on Zanzibar we have found a comparable breakfast! The breakfast is simply terrific! Thank you very much for this wonderful time with you!
