The food is always fresh, healthy, and offers a great variety—there’s something delicious for everyone. The highlight? Coco, the playful little monkey who brings so much joy! Absolutely unbelievable! They did everything possible for us. It was the best holiday from our life and we are a simple couple that visited before almost 30 countries. The chefs are cooking diverse and they made us to love things that we tried before and we didn’t like. The place is integrated so well in the nature, you don’t need to visit Jordani forest because resort has everything that is there. Location super good, also you can count each time on their recommendations. They knew to create super romantic dinner for us and for my birthday they exceeded any expectations. 11 stars experience. We just hope we were good tourists for them because they were making a simple holiday to be the honeymoon that everyone desire. PS Super safety resort.

Pongwe Beach Hotel is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing...

Pongwe Beach Hotel is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beach and grounds are beautiful and well maintained . We love that it peaceful and quiet with no loud music or jet skis. We enjoyed the program put on by the hotel staff that included the guests.

It was amazing!!

It was amazing!! Beautiful place and unbelievable accommodation. Food great . The service from the staff was the best ever !!! Both of us fell in love with all of the people working there . Cannot recommend Pongwe Island enough ❤️

You need to take into consideration the feelings of your...

You need to take into consideration the feelings of your visitors....we do not like being targeted by people pestering us to buy from them every time we go to the beach. It really is a negative factor of visiting your wonderful island paradise....it spoiled it for us. Also this happened to us on other beaches in Zanzibar so not just a Pongwe problem....its endemic to Zanzibar.

TOA hotel is a good place to stay for a few days. Perfect to relax after a safari tour! the team is very efficient and professional with Ahmed and Hamdi for the housekeeping, Cecilia, Sam and Ester, all being always ready to help. A big thanks you to all.

Pongwe is an isolated beach, at low tide the sea is very far...

Pongwe is an isolated beach, at low tide the sea is very far away and, even at high tide, it is very shallow - you cannot swim. Kiwengwa beach, next door (10 minutes by car) is much better, more lively, with many shops and good hotels.

Beautiful location! Opening your doors onto that most beautiful view of the Indian Ocean is the most incredible things about this! The pool area and Temple bar is also wonderful. Breakfast is adequate. We ate at the hotel 3 times. Twice we had lovely food, once was not so good. We had burritos and they were deep fried and incredibly greasy. We loved Mwini and Perdo, they made our stay really happy. We also loved the hotel dogs, although did feel sorry for them as there never seemed to be food/water for them.

The hotel was simply perfect, everything we could have hoped for on our honeymoon and more! From start to finish it was flawless service from the friendliest and most attentive staff we’ve ever experienced. The location, rooms, pool, facilities, etc were all amazing and the layout/size of the hotel was great! Finally, the food was exceptional and the all inclusive is well worth it! Overall, Tulia made our honeymoon so special and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

I found the hotel very clean, both inside the room and in the hotel facilities. The only place where I found some garbage (and it wasn't much) was on the beach, but that could be garbage that comes in with the tide. I didn't think there was a huge choice of food, but what there was was good. The cocktails were very good. The transfers were super punctual. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the hotel to be very much like the photos on Booking.

The hotel is very clean and quite. The staff is exceptional! They are paying attention to every detail and trying to satisfy the clients. Additionally, they upgraded our room to the one with view on the ocean, it was an amazing gift for our honeymoon!
