Lovely location with very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There's a big kitchen that makes it easy to cook your own food an also a BBQ you can use outside to grill. It's situated just off the river so you can hear the water in the morning which is nice. The views are stunning and it's easy to get to town and hiking trails.

A small town that is more suitable for a quiet rest and contemplation of beautiful landscapes. In a few days you can see everything there is in the city and take a walk in the mountains, but there are very beautiful tourist places nearby that you can easily reach both by your own transport and by public transport.

I recommend visiting Hutsul Chan and booking a horseback...

I recommend visiting Hutsul Chan and booking a horseback ride in the mountains. I recommend going to the Burkut spring in the park to try the mineral water, as well as going to the suspension bridge over the Tisza River. I also recommend going to neighboring Kvasy for an excursion to the Tsipa brewery and the Rosenthal cheese factory. There is no public transport in the city, so it is better to get around by taxi or your own car.

It was our first time in Transcarpathia, so everything was interesting to us. We really liked the city of Rakhiv. We visited the Bryndza Museum. We went to the mountains. We visited Lysia Hora (Wind Rose). Sincere thanks to the owner, Mr. Vasyl! (he himself conducted the tour, tasting) And of course, the snow-capped mountains!!! We had lunch at the "Europe" restaurant (tasty and affordable) I recommend it!!!

There are beautiful mountains around the city.

There are beautiful mountains around the city. The town itself is small, sandwiched between mountains on both banks of the Tisza River. There are many restaurants in the city with very tasty local cuisine. The garden is a decoration for either starting a long hike through the mountains or for short hikes to the mountains for one day.

A beautiful city surrounded by mountains and the beautiful Burkut Park. It lacks normal roads and sidewalks, partly because of this the city has stalled in development. It is a pity that the railway only goes to Rakhiv, that the Rakhiv-Dilove-Sigit section is not in use.

Rakhiv is the perfect starting point for mountain hikes.

Rakhiv is the perfect starting point for mountain hikes. Accommodation and food are inexpensive, but there's not much to do in the town itself. I ate at the Evropa restaurant, which was very affordable. The train stations are close to each other and the city center. Basically, spend the night and then hit the mountain.

The Hostel is well maintained by the very friendly person in charge of it. The double room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Cool air and the river Tysa nearby make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Rakhiv is a great place to explore the Karpatian and Huzul Nature Reserves.

For sure one of the best hostels in Ukraine. Excellent structure, dorms, baths, kitchen. Simple, comfortable and clean. Perfect for backpackers. You can listen the river flowing from your bedroom. If you want to explore Rakhiv and the Zakarpathian region, that's the hostel!
