I had a lovely 3-night stay at Enshama Lodge. The lodge is very strategically located in Katunguru, with lots of opportunities to see wildlife straight from the lodge. The central building provides the largest and highest viewing platform of any of the nearby lodges, and I loved having my dinner there. The room I had was exceptionally spacious and very comfortable. Also the full-board included food was great, always tasty and nicely presented, with meat and vegetarian options discussed with you the day before. Everest, the receptionist and waiter, was exceptionally kind and helpful and made sure my stay was very pleasant. I would recommend and come back!

As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.

This was our favourite accommodation on the whole trip in Uganda. The staff were excellent and so friendly, they were very attentive and made us feel at home immediately and the views over the savannah watching elephants walk by was something I'll never forget. Beautiful true Safari! The hotel is located right on the edge of the park. There are animals walking in front of the restaurant - elephants, buffaloes, etc., and at night we were visited by hippos and hyenas. The accommodation is clean and thanks to the canvas walls you are directly connected to nature. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The staff are really everything you would want in service and the food was excellent. The environment is great for relaxation, the camp fire is an experience for especially modern children who experience it less or never. I would recommend them over and over. And Yes, the animals come by anytime.
