Buckhannon was nice. Shopping, restaurants.
Buckhannon was nice. Shopping, restaurants. Peggy's restaurant has a very good breakfast, lunch, & dinner. We like the painting's on the wall by a local artist. They are for sale, and we have many of them in our home.

It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places...
It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places to eat. But what everyone should know most is their fabulous donut shop. The donut shop has a large variety of donuts. There is a flavor that is sure to please just about anyone. The best in my opinion was the Strawberry shortcake. The donut shop also offers sandwiches too. If ever in Buchanan you got to try the Donut Stop.

It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving.
It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving. Food and Walmart are all within 1 mile. Other attractions are 1 hour away. Unseasonably warm in February, but it happens everywhere. Don’t expect to get cell service everywhere as the mountains block the towers. Friendly people, but judgemental of “outsiders”, don’t let it bother you.

the staff was so friendly and the rooms were clean and very cozy. the bar in the hotel was phenomenal!!!! the bartender was super nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful hotel! Room was clean and inviting. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Already booked a room for a future stay in the area.
