I love love staying at Drury. One thing amount others is they have the Best breakfast. I normally can’t eat prepared scrambled eggs at hotels, but at this location the eggs were excellent! Hats off to those cooks!!!!!

Perfect location and great Staff they were always helpful and cheery Great Bars and restaurants with in walking distance. We went to the Beer Garden and loved it. Highly recommend dinner at the Fig Tree a short Uber Ride away.

We had such a pleasant stay. The rooms were perfect: the beds were great, the room and bathroom were very clean. The location of the hotel was great . Restaurants, bars, and shops were all within walking distance. Thumbs up as well to the staff for the hospitality and great service!

    The thing I liked most about Charlotte was visiting the Billy Graham Library. Wished we had gotten to the library sooner and had more time to explore. I do plan on going back to the library sometime in the near future.

    Loved it very much!

    Loved it very much! We had very nice people there, lots of programs including city tours, museums visits, street party, great food, restaurant. I would recommend to rent a car to see more, Charlotte is big!

    I stayed in Charlotte from Friday to Monday for a birthday...

    I stayed in Charlotte from Friday to Monday for a birthday celebration. Charlotte is walkable and lively. I would recommend to families, couples, and single travelers. The weather was great during our stay and we were able to try many restaurants, walk to rooftops, enjoy dinner with live music, and more. There are farmer's markets, workout classes, and many coffee shops to suit your tastes. Charlotte has something for all ages and lots of furry friends too!

    Charlotte is a beautiful city and offers many experiences to enjoy. Eating out was always a treat! The Mimosa Grill, Cajun Yard Dog and Flower Child, were some of the places we dined. All were excellent places to eat.

    As a former resident of Charlotte, I am impressed at how the city has progressed. There are many offerings for food and entertainment. Traffic on the interstates is a bit of a problem, but not the normal big city congestion.

    I stayed at the Wingate overnight because of its close...

    I stayed at the Wingate overnight because of its close proximity to the Charlotte Douglas Airport. My expectations were simple: a place to sleep and somewhere to eat. This hotel has no restaurant but the Shalmar Greek restaurant is a 5 min walk along the high way. I noticed a lugguage trolly by the entrance but there was no bell staff when I checked in and as tired as I was from 7 hours flying, I had to lug my bags up to the 4th floor unassisted. The room was sizeable with a designated sitting area which would have been a great reading spot - had my stay been longer. Check in for me was actually my combined check out also. The full breakfast is complimentary but I had to leave way too early to even consider it. Sunny and Leroy were my two drivers and they put a welcoming face on the complimentary shuttle service Wingate offers.

    A very clean and tidy hotel that is apparently under new management. Don't be put-off by the (comparably) cheap price. It is a genuine bargain because, I suspect, the new owners are trying to build up a loyal customer base. The manager Cynthia went out of her way several times to personally address any concerns (the TV didn't work in one room and, quick as a flash, she assigned me a new room, no hassles at all).

    Breakfast was not entirely packed in plastic, as has been my experience at other similar hotels in the USA in this price range. Bravo for that! The bed was fine. Lots of electrical outlets. Location was perfect to the airport; that was motivation for staying at the place. Public hallway music was cool chill. :-)

    Check in was easy; front desk staff very nice and helpful. The hotel smelled great; the room was very clean. The housekeeping staff is excellent. If I had know about Sonesta Simply Suites, it would be the first or only hotel I would stay in in Charlotte. The hotel is very pet friendly as well.
