AustraliaI can’t say enough about the kindness of the motel staff. They were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I had originally booked the wrong day and they happily changed it; I arrived in the morning after a sleepless overnight bus trip and they let me check in early; and the next morning when I couldn’t get transport to the bus stop, they drove me 3 miles into town, saving me a very long and cold walk on a frosty Iowa winter morning. All with a smile and good wishes. I heartily recommend them for any traveller.

Grinnell is a college town but they are improving it all the time. They are working a Historical Museum (but do not know the date it will be open).
