I had a wonderful two nights at the Cypress Inn. My room was next to the reception and I had the most beautiful view of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and the evening wine happy bar and freshly baked cookies were a treat!

We rented a vehicle and visited friends and relatives in the area. There are lots of beaches and parks in Half Moon Bay. A quaint main street with shops and restaurants. Not far from San Francisco, about 40 minutes. Must visit Fitzgerald Park and Martin's Beach. Visit all these; Pillar Point beach and marina, Capitola, Santa Cruz

I used to live in HMB, and we often come back to visit.

I used to live in HMB, and we often come back to visit. It’s proximity to SF, Carmel, and Santa Cruz is the perfect in between town to stay. We own. Travel trailer and often stay in Pelican Point travel trailer park is perfect too. We love HMB, CA. We often eat at Jersey Joe’s, Spanish town, Miramar. We love that our pets are always welcome at these locations too.

People above us was running a marathon in their room.

People above us was running a marathon in their room. Got up about midnight to use the restroom, and it was raining in the bathroom. Called front desk to complain about noise and the water leak. They brought buckets and informed us the building is old, and when people stomp around upstairs it leaks. This also explained the mildew smell. They asked upstairs to quiet down....and the leak did stop. They could not move us because they were full. Very miserable night.

We went to Half Moon Bay with my father-in-law who was...

We went to Half Moon Bay with my father-in-law who was visiting from Australia. It was the perfect location to drive to San Francisco for a day, drive to Monterey for a day and enjoy the quaint little town of Half Moon Bay.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails. You can walk or bike all the way from Ritz Carlton to the pier. Nice wide sandy beach for picknick. Wild flowers blooming all the years to attract your eyes. Little bit cooler temperatures, so best to bring blanket and jacket if you stay in the beach. There are nice eateries in the beach and downtown Halfmoon bay. I also enjoye to vist Halfmoon Bay nursries where has many nice blooms.

I LOVE THAT NO ONE STOLE FROM ME. . THAT IS PROBLEM IN MANY PLACES. . IT WAS LOVELY AND QUIET. . OPEN THE CURTAINS AND SEE THE BEAUTIFUL TREES AND RELAX. . GO WALKING AND SEATED AREAS AROUND OUTSIDE. . SAFE FOR SINGLE WOMEN 😄. THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT. THANK YOU

This was a well maintained property close to restaurants and cafes at Half moon bay. We stayed just the one night on our way to san Francisco. The room was modern with a modern bathroom. We didn't use the fireplace but this was a nice addition to the room. The sitting area by the window offered good views of the bay even though there was highway one bewteen the hotel and forshore.
