Kirpal center is an amazing place. If you’re a nature lover you must definitely go there. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and the occupation is very cozy. The bathroom view is undefeated, you will be directly facing the forest while showering and using the restroom. The staff is the kindest and very welcoming. You will for sure feel at home during your stay ! Last but not least, every people I met there was lovely. There’s definitely a special energy there. If you plan to stay in Big Island I highly recommend you to choose to stay there, you won’t regret it.

There was a record player with old Hawaiian vinyl records that added to the mood, and a gorgeous bathroom that we really appreciated after camping. Even the overhead fan was hand carved to suit the Hawaiian castaway oasis aesthetic. Gilligans Island, eat your heart out. Now you can feel like you have been shipwrecked on a deserted island but with all the luxuries! The open air kitchen was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities and a morning visit by a friendly hen who left us a fresh egg - look under the stove, near the microwave for a breakfast egg delivery!

Beautiful and welcoming queer retreat with top-notch facilities and an amazing garden. The Garden Oasis room is a gorgeous screened-in terrace, the perfect place to dream with the vibrant sounds and scents of the rainforest all around you. Two inner guestrooms are also available if you prefer a dryer and quieter experience. We enjoyed socializing with the friendly host and other guests in the shared areas, and heard great things about the weekly gay BBQ event on Mondays.

This is truly a special place to stay on the Big Island. This time we chose a quiet, charming spot far from the city, and it was exactly what we needed. The house is tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery. Inside, there are two separate bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with a big TV, and a bathroom with a view of the garden plus a terrace with a workspace for enjoying the outdoors while working! The highlight was definitely the beautiful, perfectly designed terrace with plenty of space to relax, unwind, and even sleep under the stars, and yes, there was a bed outside! The whole place is decorated in a lovely, local Hawaiian style. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped. The property is fenced, has parking, and even a BBQ area. But the absolute best part was the nature all around us lots of geckos during the day and birds singing at night. We’d also love to thank Jozsef for his hospitality and care. We truly felt looked after. We recommend this place with all our hearts and really hope to return one day ❤️
