Napa is absolutely beautiful no matter where you drive. The weather was warm but still very comfortable. Downtown Napa is a great spot to eat, walk around, and shop, with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we met was friendly, and the wineries are fantastic! This was my 2nd visit to Napa and I was disappointed; came with great expectations for the ride on Napa Wine Train ... was really disappointing. The first time, we visited 4 wineries; this time it was only 2 and those too were thoroughly disappointing ... Charles Krug and V Sattui. Also clean and spacious rooms. We were delayed and pre warned them, they were quick to respond with after hours check in. It’s not far from down town Napa for meals or more tastings and parking onsite was included. We also liked they had good wifi connection, wine hour in the lobby plus coffee + herbal tea in the lobby was excellent. Overall it was a stress free stay with excellent service.
