We could park in front of our room, which was very convenient. It was pretty clean. Also we could ask for an extra bed.

The view in the morning. The pool. The closeness to a good restaurant.

It's a nice small town.

It's a nice small town. Lots of restaurants are closed on Sunday which caused us to eat at Denny's. They were slammed. Ate at Mom's Cafe the previous visit. Had a wonderful meal and conversation with mom herself.

The pricing was not too bad and the beds were comfortable.

The pricing was not too bad and the beds were comfortable. Their breakfast that they advertised was not served until 11:00 am, so I did not eat breakfast therefore I can't say much about it. This is a form of false advertisement because we know that breakfast is served in the morning and not at noon. The toilet was extremely tiny and uncomfortable and it didn't flush very well! Stay away from that place, I don't recommended!

Salina is a lovely small town in a highly scenic region. If you want to shop, go to the city. If you're comfortable with your own company and enjoy seeing the beauty of the world in a pretty little town filled with friendly people, come to Salina.

The location and general atmosphere of the immediate area makes this hotel a great place to stay. There's a little food stand around the corner that has THE BEST FOOD! I can't remember the name of it but it is right around the corner from the hotel and it's women owned. Within walking distance.

A quiet little town filled with nice people!

A quiet little town filled with nice people! A tire pressure warning came on just as I was leaving town at 430am; so lucky there is a newer Maverik gas station/minimarket that had an easy to use air machine with pressure selection and automatic stop at full. I don't carry quarters, or a tire gauge; my debit card saved the day and time lost getting back on the road. Celebrated with fresh hot coffee - really nice clerk.

After a long day of hiking in Zion and driving more than 3 hours, Salina is an easy town to arrive in. Small with gas station, Cafe, grocery store. High Desert Inn is right on main street. Owner chatted pleasantly at reception. As soon as I entered the room, I thought, "Oh this is nice!". Fresh new white paint, updated fixtures, lovely linens. The next morning I needed to use their land line and they were so helpful. Great place . Great people.

This was the cleanest and best maintained hotel that I have come across in a roadtrip around North America. There were also thoughful little things - baking soda in the fridge, extra cloths for mopping up spills, a dedicated makeup face cloth. It was also quiet, comfortable, and felt safe. No breakfast, but there are excellent options very close by.

Renovated rooms in an older hotel in a small town in central Utah-all we needed on our way to a great bike ride in Marysvale Canyon. We felt like we had a nice time stepping back to the 1950's-even had dinner just down the way at Mom's Cafe!
