Julia helped me tremendously! I was travelling for days and accidentally put in the wrong date for my stay so showed up a day late!!! She still applied the fee to the day I needed with a bit of an extra charge because my old rate was a weekday rate and I showed on the weekend but it was still a discount. I’m very grateful

The hotel is in the middle of the Historic District, excellent location! The room was HUGE with a little area to make coffee and a microwave! The bathroom is also really nice and clean. Its the biggest room we had on our 3 week trip! It is very clean, staff absolutely lovely, would have stayed longer if we could have! This was definately the best hotel on our trip and i would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

    Charming town with tons of history and easy to get around. The Hop On Hop Off trolley is a fun way to get around if you're short on time. Lots of great restaurants and watching or reading Midnight In the Garden of Good & Evil puts you in the mood for some southern charm!

    We took the Riverboat dinner cruise and it was great! Very friendly staff, excellent food and very enjoyable entertainment made for a memorable experience we will fondly remember! The following day we dined at Toni's Steakhouse on Eisenhower Drive and had a terrific meal, very enjoyable! Our two day getaway was everything we hoped it would be, Savannah is a beautiful city with plenty to offer, highly recommended!

    We stayed in the beautiful historic home (The Forsyth Inn)...

    We stayed in the beautiful historic home (The Forsyth Inn) in a perfect location overlooking Forsyth Park. Close enough to walk to everything, but there is a free DOT bus if you prefer. Nice breakfast served out on the porch of the Inn (weather permitting). Tons of restaurants down by the river and throughout the historic district. Lots of history and sites to see. Check out the Farmers Market on Saturdays in Forsyth Park. Walk down Jones Street. Enjoy the ambiance of all those beautiful Live Oak trees!

    We love the city it’s a nice romantic place to come with...

    We love the city it’s a nice romantic place to come with your lover or husband or wife we only stayed 1 night but we will definitely be back and stay longer it’s so much to do and the river front is a must and make sure you stay near down town to get the full experience we stay off I-95 and the hotel wasn’t the best so it was the only bad thing that I have to say.

    We go to Savannah at least 4 times a year.

    We go to Savannah at least 4 times a year. We have stayed in almost all of the B&Bs in the historic district as well as many of the hotels and even some 2 and 3 bedroom VRBO offerings. Once we get to Savannah the idea is to park the car and not get back in a vehicle until the day we leave. This is a great walking town and we always have felt safe wandering around the squares, going in and out of stores and eating establishments, and enjoying some of the nightlife. River Street and Bay street shops are a bit touristy but still are a lot of fun. Avoid chain restaurants (not many of those anyway) and go to great places like Fiddlers and Pirate House for seafood, Vics on the River and Bella Napoli for fine dining, and Treylor Park (Bay St), Seafood Shack or Common on Broughton for great lunch options. Don't forget Lulu's Chocolate Bar for desserts and yummy martinis. If you get tired walking, a PediCab is a great way to get around.

    Great city with a lot of history. Getting around is tricky. Tours are good. Need camera everywhere!!! Bring a portable charger. Be sure to catch a ship. There is a port cruise but schedule in advance.

    We really valued the Happy Hours where we had the best conversations with other guests and got great sight-seeing tips. Savannah is a beautiful city and we were really pleased we had stayed in the historic district at this Inn. We also enjoyed the beautiful morning breakfast (pre-selected and cooked fresh) in the outdoor room.

    Great location. Plenty of space for us and our school aged son. As it was not tourist season we had no trouble parking. It's a short walk to historic downtown Savannah and within a half hour's drive you can see Tybee Island, Bonaventure Cemetery and Wormsloe.

    Was quiet, bed was comfy, was clean, office backed on to a perkins restaurant, lots of fsst food near by. Downtown savannah was about 30- 45 min away depending on traffic. Owner is an artist so has made sculptures out of old junk very cool.
