Good location, just a couple of hundred yards out of the town centre, so it’s quiet. It’s a bit of a hike from the bus station but the reward is that it’s near some of the best restaurants in town and a half hour stroll to San Francisco beach, which is the best in the area. Great breakfast and the pool is a nice touch. The most impressive thing is the warmth and helpfulness of the staff who don’t speak English but cheerfully endured my dreadful Spanish!

A lovely family-run hotel in a quiet side street but close to downtown Piriápolis. Spotlessly clean with kind and courteous staff. A special shout out to the reception staff: Catarina, Elisa, Gonzolo and Horace who were extremely helpful, spoke good English and showed great patience when we attempted to speak Spanish! ¡Muchos gracias!
