The best place you can wish for. The hosts Duc and his wife Queyen, were the perfect hosts, and their commitment to their guests is reflected in the staff they employ; everybody involved was extremely helpful and friendly. It’s an exotic place, staying in huts along the river , in a jungle like environment. Although we were told that the riverside setting could have a few mosquitoes at dusk, we did not have any problem with them. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed.

Exceptional Host Even before our arrival, Summer offered advice on traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. She welcomed us warmly, introduced her home and the region, and recommended organized day tours. Renting bikes and motorbikes from her was incredibly convenient. Unforgettable Highlights Our favorite activity was the Tour around the Mekong N2. For about 1,000,000 VND for two, the tour included a boat driver and guide. We explored coconut plantations, local workshops, charming villages, and the Mekong’s canals. The four-hour tour was filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. Comfortable Accommodation Le Mekong Bleu is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Our air-conditioned room was comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the cozy living room where we played Summer's guitar and chatted with Summer. Delicious Breakfast Breakfast was a delight, especially the noodle soup—it was one of the best we’ve had in South Vietnam! The fresh ingredients and rich flavors made the morning very special while we had a wonderful chat with the other guests. Heartfelt Thanks Thank you, Summer! Our stay in Ben Tre was wonderful thanks to your hospitality, lovely home, and great recommendations. The accommodation is a true gem in the heart of the Mekong Delta. The staff are incredibly friendly. The room was clean, with a bathroom that even had a separate shower. That's quite rare, and it was nice not to have to stand in the bathroom with wet feet the whole time. The fruit from the garden is freely available and is even marked with a red ribbon when it's ripe. You're constantly offered fresh fruit. The food on offer is varied, and everything we ate was delicious. If you want, you don't have to leave the accommodation at all. There's a free breakfast every day, consisting of two fried eggs, a baguette, and a coffee, tea, or fruit juice. Except for the occasional karaoke performance from the neighbors, it's a very quiet place where you can truly relax. The accommodation has direct access to the river and plenty of seating. We were able to work wonderfully here, as the Wi-Fi was also very good, and if you want, you can sit by the river for hours and unwind. We felt very comfortable and welcome here. If we return to the Mekong Delta, we will stay here again.

You get to have a real local experience as not many tourists here The owner, Thai, was absolutely brilliant and helped make my stay extra special, as did his adorable children! I hired a moped which helped me explore that much further than the bikes but the bike rides were also good. I timed it perfectly for the flower markets. Stunning! All the locals were so friendly saying hello as I passed. Totally unexpected but I suppose a single red curly headed female stands out a little. From this experience I'd recommend a homestay.

Place is just amazing. From the minute that you arrive, you are being very well looked after. Our room was beautiful, exactly like photos on booking, food was very delicious and tours that we booked very good. I'd highly recommend staying 2-3 nights in this mini paradise.
