Most travelers skip Haiphong. This is a mistake.
Most travelers skip Haiphong. This is a mistake. If you travel to eat, don’t skip Haiphong. The food is interesting, delicious, varied and exceptional. We had the best Pho here that we’ve had in four trips to Vietnam. The people of Haiphong are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The city center has a lovely park running through it. The old colonial architecture is rundown in places but interesting to look at. We stayed out of the old city in a modern development, but would stay in the center next time even though GRAB and the city bus are easy to use.Guest review byVitoUnited States

Central location and a stunning hotel, all of the staff are absolutely lovely, so friendly and went out of their way to help in anyway they could and the ladies on reception gave me daily Vietnamese language lessons.
