If you want to be close to real life of Vietnamese, try this place. It's in the middle of hills, with one of the best views which I have ever seen, close to villages where you can find people, which are still not so influenced by tourism. The room was clean and nice, but the most important point is the personality of the owner, really brilliant lady who is able to organised everything what you need. And the dinner with her and her family was the excellent and very pleasant experience.

Thanks to the owner, Nhung, who welcomed us in a very warm way, we had a fantastic stay. The food was delicious, the views incredible. The place is quiet, lovely with its land dotted with plants and fruit trees: it’s like an ecolodge. Nhung helped us finding the best rides and visits. She even took a morning to guide us in the Mongh village. It’s the most authentic and beautiful experience we had over our 3 weeks in Vietnam.

We had a great time at Hmong's Life Homestay. Amazing hospitality by Ky (the owner) and his family. They cooked tasty food for us (accommodating also for vegetarians) and took us trekking among the rice fields. We liked it so much that we extended our stay one extra day to explore the area with one of the motorbikes available for renting. The landscapes are amazing and the roads are very well maintained. The room is tidy and clean with an amazing view. It's pretty spartan, as you would expect in a place like this. Overall a great experience, an absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

Exceptional homestay - the rooms are nice and spacious and have a cute little terrace. The homestay has great views over the rice terraces. The family running the homestay is nothing short of amazing - they are incredibly welcoming and helpful organising treks, activities or transport. The food is mostly homegrown and very delicious.
