The location of Hoang Ha River Town Hotel is excellent, nestled near a thriving river stream amidst many locals and a charming coffee shop. The hotel is also located close to the city's walking street, which is hard to miss. The room itself was spacious, and the beds were so comfy! We were able to have a balcony view and admired the starfruit growing on the trees, along with the river canal view and locals biking by. I highly recommend renting a motorbike to explore the beautiful parks around. The hotel staff were very kind; we enjoyed drinking tea with them, and they even helped us with an injury we had. Additionally, we were able to leave our belongings in the lobby after check-out as we wanted to explore the city for the day before our bus to Hanoi. Honestly, I can't recommend Hoang Ha River Town Hotel enough. If you're ever in Yen Bai, make sure to book a stay here. I know I'll be coming back here on my next trip!

The entire setup and the rooms are great. Very comfortable. Really a perfect place to relax. We wish we could spent more days there. Everyone is super nice and helpfull. The accomodation is very close to a beautiful hike with panoramic view of the Thac Ba lake. The breakfast was amazing, really tasty and a lot of food. Also, there is a lovely vegetarian restaurant in the city, for which the owner gave us directions to, and even arranged for a meal after closing time.

The place is amazing, full of personality and charm. The host and hostess were extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful. Our kids were entertained feeding the cute rabbits and painting figurines (the place is also a coffee shop and a painting school/studio so it has all the supplies). Dinner was family style so we got a chance to get to know our hosts and the others guest which was really nice. The hostess helped us with bus tickets, walked us to the stop and even checked up on us to make sure we got to our next destination safely. If we could give this place 15 stars we would.

Beautiful property with wonderful hosts, LeLe and ETC, with their family. They all made me feel extra welcome and cared for, and were even so sweet to do a surprise birthday for me, including a cake and hand-drawn card, which made my trip that much more special as I was travelling solo. They also took me on a trip to experience the local market. It is decorated throughout with vibrant paintings by ETC. Great place to sit around, enjoy the views (there were some nice decorations for National Day as well), and relax. The area is nice and quiet, but accessible. I really liked the unique styles of the bedroom and bathroom, and the soaker tub was great! I would love to come back if I return to Yen Bai.

Tbis is one of the best homestay experiences I have had in Vietnam!!! The family makes you feel like a part their family offering you dinner, helping with anything you need and giving you ideas for the rest of your trip you might not have thought about in the North. I highly recommend Fish Farm Homestay, I had an amazing night with the family!!!

This place is simple, more suited for one or two nights on your way around Vietnam. As a motorcycle tourist this place was perfect for my overnight stay from Sapa to Ha Noi. The staff are fantastic, and will do their best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable 😊 The cabin is stand alone so no neighbour noise which is good and there's a huge parking area. Locally you will find a few restaurants, convenience stores and plenty of helpful locals. I would definately stay here again on future rides.

A beautiful place, with beautiful, open, and friendly owners. Organic food 😁 and brilliant company. I even received delicious bananas for my onward journey. I'm sure I'll remember it for a long time.

Good and comfortable for a quick overnight stay en route to Sa Pa. Please note that the property is not on Google Maps and the coordinates given on Booking.com to copy are incorrect. Look up “Chợ Đá Quý Yên Bái” on Google Maps and that is where the guest house is.
