Everything about Mitat Guesthouse was awesome. Beautiful peaceful setting providing everything one needs in overnight accommodation. The location is very good The room very Comfortable and neat If you want to stay there without breakfast might be a better idea We paid for breakfast but did not eat.Menu very poor indeed..The owner should make sure all is set in the bedroom before guest arrives .Hand towels are a.must.Toilet rolls are a must.Sugar for tea is a must.and if you pay for breakfast it should be provided.not just scrambled eggs and boerovorce

In today's living in South Africa, this is undoubtedly the cleanest town I have ever seen. Town and residential areas. Everyone we met, truly welcomed you to their place of business. The Owner of the B & B was particularly helpful with whatever we asked. No matter who we spoke to, every soul was so helpful with a smile and happy travels, thanks for visiting our town; - one could definitely not ask for more. Plenty of our choice of eating places, With GPS assistance it is really easy to find your way around. Those who can afford, Game Farms close by.

i cant say much on this as i didnt explore Beaufort West.

i cant say much on this as i didnt explore Beaufort West. Its my overnight stay enroute to Cape Town. For muslim travellers, wanting to break their journey can do so. The only Halaal place to buy from is at Steers and the Engen Garage. I dont know of any other halaal places.

Our comfortable room was available at 11:30 even though...

Our comfortable room was available at 11:30 even though check-in time was only at 14:00. The hostess, Edith, was very friendly and gave us some tips about restaurants and places to see. We were able to walk to the center of town and on foot we could easily admire the beautiful old buildings the town offers. Our stay in Beaufort West was very pleasant at Villa Contessa, a real Mexican-feel hacienda. I can recommend this guest house!

Friendly attitude among some workers except one place where you will be charged a fee for a mere visitation of a friend.All other accomodations around town that l have visited, are up to standard and privacy is upheld.There is no unnecessary surveillance of people in and out of premises.
