Jack's place is quite spacious and very well equipped. It is very tranquill and overlooks farm and grazing land. The property itself has springboks, elands and zebras - a nice plus. While it is out in the country, it is only about 10 minutes from Bredasdorp and a short drive (under an hour) to the caves in Arniston or to Cape Aghulas. All in all a very nice accomodation for chilling and/or for sightseeing.

The house is an absolute gem, and the host is so lovely! The rooms and the shared spaces are delightful, clean, and super cosy. The breakfast was delicious, and Angelique (the host) even baked us fresh muffins for our long road trip. Definitely a must stay!

The room and bathroom were very clean and cozy, with a spacious shower and comfortable bed. The owner was welcoming, attentive, and provided us with plenty of information. The apartment is conveniently located in a quiet area. We had a great time and would recommend it.

Our host was so kind to us! She takes much time to gave us some informations and at our departure she gave us some snacks for the road. We loved our stay here in this cute apartment. Feels like home! Really pretty location to stay for visiting the De Hoop Nature Reserve (45 minutes by car)

What a beautiful place to stay, sadly we only stayed one night. Very peaceful area, the apartment lies in an own little bungalow. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the vibe there, with the cute dogs and chickens running around. Also very friendly hosts! We really enjoyed our stay!

A lovely little town which we visit every year to take part in the Voet of Afrika race. It could really do with some nice restaurants though... On a Saturday night only 1 restaurant open (former Flames grill) and was empty!

This was my 1st visit to Bredasdorp and because I was nervous about travelling with my dog, I didn't spend much time in the town itself. Of what I did see, I was impressed as it's well developed with all amenities.

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there...

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there and a few restaurants. Many of the houses are beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. The Shipwreck Museum is excellent and well worth the low entrance fee.

Bredasdorp is known as the capital of the Overberg District.

Bredasdorp is known as the capital of the Overberg District. It is a medium size town with all major shopping centres, eg Shoprite, Spar, Mr Price, PEP etc. A couple of fast food outlets, eg KFC and some Pizza and Fish and Chips take away shops. Other interesting curious shops. The local population definately gives the town a flair of it's own. The town is in close driving vacinity of other picturesque and seaside towns, eg Arniston, Struisbaai and Cape Agulhas (the southernmost tip of Africa).
