Everything was really perfect and over the most optimistic expectations . I booked a suite with two bedrooms,two bathrooms and a living room and i got a very good suite on the 8floor with an enormous equipped terrace and a very good sightseing, parking with valet,full entrance to the lounge, rich and good breakfast ..,,Value for money at the highest level! BUT i want to express a particular thank to Innocent , a perfect host in the lounge who supported us with the maximum competence,availability,readiness and professionality blended with a positive friendship attitude, furthermore any his suggestion for restaurant has to be followed with trust because he has a wide knowledge of this field and a very sensible capability of understanding what the customer is looking for!! A thank also to the drivers and the gate staff that in the nights,in spite of my requests for taxis they insisted to accompany me with the most comfortable car of the hotel to the various restaurants and pick me up at the end!

This was a wonderful place to have a three night stay in Cape Town. The staff are super friendly and helpful and stayed up late for us when our flight was delayed. Our room was so cozy and cool, and the bed linen was so nice to sleep in, we had great sleeps. A safe quick walk to V&A Waterfront or a quick Uber nearly everywhere else, absolutely incredible breakfasts and they were very helpful with directions and advice for places to visit. Highly recommend.

Cool, Colourful Cape

Located on the Cape of Good Hope, the city was founded in 1652 by a Dutch trading company as a way-station for ships travelling to the East Indies. With the settling process, all sorts of foreign plants were introduced, including the grapes in the famous Cape Winelands District, just outside Cape Town.

Cape Town’s history does have some darker periods, and some of its memorable places from this time deserve to be visited: Robben Island jail, the City Hall from which Nelson Mandela gave his first public speech, and the statues of the 4 South African Nobel Peace Prize winners on the V&A Waterfront.

A very diverse and lovely city with all sorts of attractions...

A very diverse and lovely city with all sorts of attractions. Vibrant food culture with world-class offerings to satisfy any palate. Gorgeous beaches and iconic Table Mountain to explore. Very friendly local people. Safety is an ongoing issue. Do not carry a lot of cash, wear expensive jewely or flashy attire. Do not walk alone off the beaten path at night. Take an Uber or taxi to be safe.

Don’t book with Sun and sand camps bay,they are blackmailing me into deleting my honest review about their dirty property and what they show on picture is not same with what they have,I couldn’t even stay for a second the whole place was smelling and dirty everything was messed up and now refund me and I got a blackmail this the host number +27 72 507 3392 This his first message to me We expect the reviews to be deleted and also message to booking clarifying the situation first We've been accused of scam since the begining And when I said I can’t delete that the next responds was Ok, is up to you The money you will not receive from booking without our approval So the only way if you want to receive it, is to delete the reviews You like to fight, not us. Great place to visit for a few days, on a longer trip on the south coast to visit other great places. I find its better to climb the Table mountain, visit the Cape of Good Hope, go to the Boulders beach and other beach locations, visit Kirstenbosch Botanical garden, drive round the many locations, take a ferry of even a helicopter trip, which I find more interesting than visiting the main city area.

Table Mountain is the star - its image is constantly...

Table Mountain is the star - its image is constantly changing, it provides a challenge for anyone who wants to walk up it (though you can skip the effort and go by cable car), and the views from the top are amazing. You can eat well at the V&A Waterfront, of course, but don't neglect the small cafes and restaurants further inland. Book trips to the Cape peninsula (staggering views, wildlife, lots of wind!) and wine-tasting (we went to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl). Don't forget local walking tours eg Bo Kaap or a township such as Langa. And get out in the bay if the sea is calm - a sunset boat trip is not to be missed. Take Ubers everywhere - quick and safe.

Sanctuary is an apt tagline - the property felt serene and away from chaos of Cape Town CBD, but short drive into the camps bay and Hout Bay / Constantia. Staff engagement on arrival and throughout was 5*. The catering onsite felt very personal, much like being served by your own chef. The design of the hotel and premises is top quality, would have been amazing in the heat of summer and not the rainy weather during our stay. Spa staff offered very good massages on site, and gym was well equipped. Appreciated the complementary room upgrade!

Excellent location on Sea Point, in a nice area. A bit far away of the City Bowl but worth it, as it is easy to reach the historical places by Uber/taxi and much more pleasant to stay away from the center of Cape Town in the evening. Quiet small but stylish hotel with all the amenities you find a bigger ones ; welcoming staff and owner ; excellent breakfast ; excellent food and selection of wines at the restaurant
