Very modern chic apartment. Stylish and functional and aesthetically pleasing. We initially made a wrong booking for one adult had to correct it with the host. Diane assisted us with so much poise and patience and even provided sleeping arrangements for my 12 year old son even though the property is advertised for two.

The accommodation is simple but more than adequate for self-catering although the one dinner & breakfast we had were excellent. The farm is quite remote and very peaceful situated near the Matzikamma Mountains the view of which is spectacular in the light of the setting sun. The nearby brilliant Gifberg pass leaves the flowerlands of Namaqualand (well worth a visit in flower time) to reveal a remarkable fynbos area where there is a lot of rooibos tea growing. Our hostess, Ancarene, could not have been better.

Very well designed and maintained, comfortable- great beds and linens and for people who have been travelling for 3 months, it was great to see the water saving they had in place and see them encouraging guests to save water. We’d def stay here again.
