A very luxury peaceful accomodation with a stunning view! The super helpfull friendly staff made sure we were taken care of in a five star manner. The food is excellent and contributed to the experience. The gamedrives were very impressive. Special thanks to our guide Louis who was very professional, showed incredible knowledge and was very driven to show us as many animals as possible. As a family we will never forget this experience. Thank you to all the staff (Aobakwe, Sammy and Nikkie) at Kingfisher Villa’s!

Well appointed accommodation, private with a great entertaining area, overlooking the reserve with incredible views. The staff were amazing and super friendly, thank you Jonathan! Facilities were great and hiring the vehicle is a must - no need to book drives with main camp if you do. What a great experience.

I´ve had the most amazing time at Mabula. It was my first safari experience and I couldn´t have chosen better. We drove from Joaneshburgo airport and were a bit worried about the road - it was a 2h super easy drive. Room was amazing - spacious, clean, well decorated. Food was delicious. Staff was super nice - our game driver was amazing and we´ve got to see Lions, Elephants, Rinos, Giraffes, Zebras, Chacals, Antilopes, etc. I would definately come back and recommend it.

The service and hospitality of this place is absolutely incredible. The daily safaris were so well planned and our guides Noku and M.J ensured that we didn’t miss any opportunities to spot animals up close. The food served was 10/10, each meal was thoughtfully curated, with multiple courses great both in creativity and flavour. Overall, this was far more than just a trip, it was an experience filled with adventure, and unforgettable memories. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Its such a great location on the reserve, the golf course is nearby and all the animals hang around it, beautiful to see from the house, the lodge is also a short drive from the house where we also went for breakfast and had really nice cocktails at the pool bar before checking in, we also had a Nyala pair hanging around our house the entire time, really was a great experience. The house was super clean and the staff very friendly.

The place is in urgent need of an upgrade.

The place is in urgent need of an upgrade. Almost all the kitchen items were dirty. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The knives were blunt. The dishwasher was broken. The bathroom mats looked like they belonged outside. The grill was rusty. The microwave is extremely old. The living room couches were terribly dirty, and the cushions were worn out and flat. The owner’s personal belongings, like cool boxes, were scattered around. The tap at the kitchen counter had no running water. The shower mats were mouldy. The advertisement of the rooms on the website did not match what we got. The single beds were extremely hard, and the bedding was old. The dishwasher was extremely dirty, mouldy, and broken. The pool cues had no tips. And I could go on and on!@

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies...

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies were very friendly. I wish they can renovate and update the hotel rooms it's outdated ,the sliding doors aren't working properly and fix the WiFi connection ,install fibre that would be better , activities are great really enjoyed ourselves with my family ,game drive, quads and massage enjoyed .enjoyed the bar and restaurant even though it's quite expensive!!!

The house itself is not well kept as there a few things...

The house itself is not well kept as there a few things broken and not well maintained. The location is a bit of a problem as nothing is accessible at Kareefontein but rather at the surrounding lodges. There is nothing really available on Kareefontein. The staff however are friendly and helpful

An excellent venue to get to the bush close to Gauteng and...

An excellent venue to get to the bush close to Gauteng and with all the game in close proximity. Mabula is a very well managed game park. The accommodation is also very good and the F&B mostly met expectations The pool experience needs some attention, particularly service during the day and in the evening. Overall a great experience, one that would warrant a second visit.

I would consider for guest to take their golf gear and book...

I would consider for guest to take their golf gear and book at Zebula, in advance to enjoy a round of golf. If the weather is bad, there is not much to do at Mabula, except to relax and take in the fresh air of the bushveld and relax.

This is a magnificently beautiful place.

This is a magnificently beautiful place. The view is breathtaking. It's so quiet and calm and early morning you can see animals walking around. The property itself is beautiful and spacious with everything you need and even the view from the inside is stunning.
