Albatros Management and staff are so friendly from the time you walk in. They went out of their way to set up the table and prep the fireplace for us to have a braai. Gave us utensils and a bowl to keep our food warm. The venue itself is just gorgeous with stunning sea views. The location is perfect and in walking distance from stores and the night life. The staff make the stay ever so pleasant. Will definitely visit again.

Margate is a quite little town, there are little treasure restaurants such as the Lobster Pot, The Waffle House and Tommy Sushi and Chinese Food. Don't order the Indian food, they have no clue what a biryani is (Paprika's).

The location is beautiful and the beach was amazing but the unit we stayed in was very disappointing and check out was not told to us and only 10 minutes before check out the lady came knocking at the door saying we need to leave in 10 minutes but I asked her the place is not neat so she said the dishes need to be washed and there was a dishwasher there but it was not working and the place needs to be cleaned but now I checked on my invoice of the place I payed 550 for cleaning fee which I thought was a damaged deposit. I don't think no one should visit this unit until they have new management and sort the bathroom out, fix the kitchen cupboards, sort the outside braai place, fix the dishes washer and clean the cupboard in the rooms.

It was home away from home.

It was home away from home. View was at a perfect spot, at the heart of Margate. View felt like it was Mauritius. Easy access to the town and playroom at the ground floor kept the kids busy at night and not forgetting wifi :-). Definitely will be back again ;-).

It's a great place to be for change of scenery.

It's a great place to be for change of scenery. Its a good place for family gateaway and for couples retreat. My small advice would be to get a place with no pool if you are going as a couple just to have the bonding sessions more meaningful withous excessive noise interuption.

Margate is central to amenities and entertainment, such as: Wild Coast, MacBanana, Waffle House, etc. It has lots of shops nearby, so you will never travel too far for any needy requirements. We ate at Waffle House, Wimpy, braaied at the pool area and used the kitchen in the apartment.

Beautiful and aesthetic apartment. Felt like a 4 star hotel. Host was on point with communication. Location was absolutely amazing. Everything that you need was in the apartment. Beach is literally across the road, with tidal pool and life guard on duty at the beach. Safe and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back.

When I arrived there I was shocked to see the condition of the hotel When I got into my room I was shocked to see that it was dark and dingy and no balcony or view so we left after 2 min and didn’t stay there and found another place to stay I can’t believe I payed and never stayed there I’m very disappointed

One of the best places we have stayed in in Margate! Location, facilities, everything was just top and Matsidiso is a very great host. Loved that checkout is at 11am, really makes a difference. A 10. Definitely booking at St Ives again.
