We felt very special in this beautiful place. The service was outstanding. The pool area was the perfect place after an exhausting safari. Also the view platform is very nice and if you are lucky you can see some animals as well. Plus point: There are three very friendly ostriches in the place. Thanks a lot for a very special time for us. Highly recommended! Dinner was also delicious in a modern and artful Restaurant.

Simone and Morné are great hosts!! The place is beautiful, rooms are very nice, the garden and all the place is so cozy. We were so greatful for the fire they set outside everyday, there you can meet the other guests and share safari stories. Morné has lots of knowledge of wild life and conversations with him are so delightful and instructive. Simone will give you lots of information before you get there and she´ll take care of you as no one else can, besides she´s an excellent cook, her muffins are the best!! Food there is at a top level. The place is 25 minutes from Orpen gate but the fence of Kruger is right in front of the garden so you can listen to lions and hyenas at night. They organized a game drive for us and it was amazing. We wouldn´t doubt of coming back again!

If you want a simple yet comfortable and authentic South African bush experience this lodge is for you! Great ambiance, adorable staff, super comfy rooms with a beautiful swimming pool, good food (accommodates vegetarians) . Just outside of Orpen Gate! Seriously a great surprise! We did enjoy it a lot!

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and everything about our stay was smooth and uncomplicated. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well-organized, and had a peaceful charm that made it easy to relax from the start. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the host. She was not only ultra-friendly and attentive, but also genuinely warm-hearted. You could feel she truly cared about her guests’ comfort and happiness. As a lovely and unexpected gesture, she even surprised us with some fresh fruit – such a thoughtful touch that made us smile! If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel truly welcomed and looked after, this is it. We’re so grateful for this experience and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
