We had a room at the other side of the road that gave us a lot of privacy. We loved the private jacuzzi and the mountain view. The staff was very friendly and the food was divine.

Breakfast you had a choice from menu which was lovely. catered for coeliacs which was fantastic. Food was hot. Dinner was lovely Staff were amazing couldn't help enough. Hotel was just lovely, beautiful gardens and activities if you wanted. Pool just outside your room.

This place is an absolute gem – old school charm meets modern amenities in a well-designed fashion. Our room was huge, and very tastefully furnished – heritage wardrobe & dressing table plus freshly renovated & updated shower, tub & ceiling fan. The complimentary glass of local wine was an amazing greeting gesture, and the pool is a treat on hot Robertson days. The entire place is very serene, quiet and peaceful – just the right setting for an escape from e.g. busy city life. A la carte breakfast was a nice touch, the restaurant also has a great dinner menu. The owners & staff are extremely friendly and dedicated to their craft, highly appreciated!

Immaculately presented room - way better than expected. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Thoughtful info folder too. And loved the bottle of local wine and fruit provided, great touch. Prompt comms from the owner via WhatsApp. Felt safe to walk into town for dinner too.

We stayed in the Fynbos Cottage. There is "beautiful" and there is "out of this world" - on the scale of 1 to 10, this comfortably scores 20. The location of the cottage at the top of the farm, surrounded by the natural vegetation, accentuated by the simple and beautiful furnishings is truly, truly, truly astonishing. The host couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. We are really grateful and would return in a nanosecond if possible...

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do.

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do. Great wine farms and lovely people. Food is nice as there are many locations for lunch, breakfast and Dinner. We always travel here for the wine farms, so safe to say if you are a fan, you are in the right place!

Beautiful and breathtaking scenery.

Beautiful and breathtaking scenery. The wine farms were a lovely experience as was the Rose Geranium and Lavender Distillery. The Gallery in Robertson was a delight. I would recommend Robertson as a wonderful experience with all my senses stimulated.

The owner Jacques was world class, great hospitality and great communication. The accommodation was spotless and most comfortable. I felt like I was living at home. Will certainly recommend it to everyone and will most definitely be back. Made my life so easy getting the golf course and back.

Always enjoy Robertson and have had a 'relationship' with...

Always enjoy Robertson and have had a 'relationship' with the town for a number of years whilst attending the 'Wine-on-the-River' event. This time around my son played golf for WP in the annual Triangular tournament against Boland & Southern Cape. I can easily retire in Robertson

Robertson is a gem.

Robertson is a gem. It's such a neat and well cared for little town. It's quiet and relaxing and has so many little hidden gem spots to explore and enjoy. It's perfectly situated to explore the surrounds like Montagu, Ashton, McGregor, etc. Stunning lunch at Van Loveren Incredible breakfast at Four Cousins - fast friendly service with wel made food. The boat cruise at Viljoensdrift is a must.

We had an absolutely incredible time at Riverbend Farm! Staying at the Fynbos Mountain Cottage, we were surrounded by breathtaking nature and stunning views. The accommodation was fantastic—well-maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and the hot tub was the absolute highlight! Allison was a wonderful host, making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We highly recommend exploring the Robertson area for its amazing wine tastings and delicious food. We can’t wait to return to Riverbend!

Self catering cottages. My advise to those who want to visit, do not buy groceries to take with, there are shops like Checkers, Spar, Pick 'n Pay & Shoprite. Will save you time and bootspace. It is a 20-30 minute drive to town. We loved that the kids enjoyed themselves in the pool and play area. Each cottage have a braai area. You just need to bring your own Braai wood, charcoal. We also loved the peace, birds chirping, mountain views allround and the sound of silence!!

What a delightful establishment. The staff and owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Amore did a wonderful job of seeing to our requests. The garden is huge and loads of shade for those hot days. The pool is massive and there is lots of space to sit and relax. Breakfast was delicious. It's well located. Near to wine farms as well as Robertson's main shopping area. Absolutely delighted by our stay. Highly recommend.
