I rarely find myself compelled to share my opinions publicly, but in this instance, I consider it a moral obligation. After more than four decades of traversing the globe, including South Africa, I discovered a gem along the Drakensberg road – the Flitwick Ranch. It's a slice of paradise, a realm out of a fairy tale, an enchanting sanctuary that captivates the souls of those who take the time to appreciate its splendor – a haven for romantics, poets, and wanderers alike. It's not just a stop; it's a destination in itself. Whether you arrive solo, with a partner, or alongside your family, the experience is nothing short of mesmerizing. Children will be spellbound, and it's a place where one can contemplate life's wonders. However, I urge you to visit soon before prices ascend. Embrace nature's embrace at this seemingly remote locale, yet equipped with every comfort imaginable, overseen by charming hosts, offering cuisine of the highest quality. The value offered is unparalleled, an exceptional blend of luxury and affordability. This eco lodge, ahead of its time, harnesses the sun for electricity and draws pure spring water for quenching your thirst. The service provided is beyond reproach. Heartfelt gratitude goes to Marié, Jurie, Chantelle, and their remarkable teams for extending such a warm welcome during my stay. I yearn to introduce this haven to my children, grandchildren, and friends, eager for them to revel in its beauty and hospitality.

What I loved the most was the beautiful scenery and that it was so peaceful and quiet. This place is truely for anyone whether it be with your whole family or just you. It's pet friendly and there's a lot to do for the out door person. There isn't really anything that I didn't like except for the low wifi/signal reception.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I would have liked to have spent more time in the area to visit different places and actually see more of the scenery. The roads are unfortunately not too great, but manageable.
