Communication was very good and the owner was very friendly on the phone attending to our calls all the time,the house keeper also was very friendly and helpful..but I hope in the future they should do something about the main remote gate,cos it's so uncomfortable to always disturb the owner to open and close all the time. We had such a lovely time at Steynshoop for our work retreat. Peter and Thabo took excellent care of us throughout the stay, and kept us fed on delicious, generous home cooked meals. We had an amazing game drive at a lodge nearby that was recommended by Peter and were thrilled by the presence of game at Steynshoop that we could watch from the Lapa area. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break away.
