This is a large, quiet, very clean and very comfortable place to stay with great beds. We especially appreciated solar for lights and charging devices - very important given Zambia’s electricity cuts. We were welcomed by the woman who cleans and she made sure to show us everything about the property. It is a great place to stay.

I loved the sociable nature of the place, the people staying and the interactions. It was all very Zambian and I loved that. I liked the rooms. The bed and the outside space. I felt welcomed.

The majority of hotels/lodges are just along the Ndola-Kitwe Road, making them conveniently located close to the international airport. Please do not book Fatmols Lodge, you will be disappointed.

I was on a nostalgic journey so I was somewhat heartbroked...

I was on a nostalgic journey so I was somewhat heartbroked to see the dilapidated roads and houses in the suburbs and state of the town where there are many small businesses run by entrepreneural Zambians gallently trying to make a living from ramshackle properties. I clearly remember how things were in the '60's and '70's so i was devastated to see the deterioration everywhere
