EVERYTHING! One of the most amazing stays we had on our journey through the country. Need a car to get here but it is soooo worth the little extra if you can swing it. Friendly staff and locals telling us about the area and their vineyard. Amazing sunrise and sunset views across the mountains. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Cachi.

Gorgeous house in such a stunning setting. We spent the entire day just in the house, only leaving to get some supplies for dinner from town.

The view is insane. The cabañas have a little minimarket where you can buy local wine and groceries, beer, soda ect. The hosts were very nice and available on whatsapp when we needed it. The place was clean and super cozy. It even had a television with netflix. Also possible to sit outside, and dry your clothes.

Oh, wow, this place only has three rooms, so please get one if you can! The front is unassuming, there’s not even a sign outside, so you have to drive up to the gate using Google maps and just hope you’re at the right place. Ring the bell, and friendly Martín will open the gate and bring you in through the laundry room. At this point my partner was raising his eyebrows, not knowing what to expect, but Martín led us through a rustic but stylish kitchen and into an incredible dining/breakfast room, followed by a patio with mountain views. And then there’s the key, like something out of DaVinci Code, ancient and huge, followed by an incredible room with beautiful decor, wall art, and textiles galore. It’s in town, but perfectly silent at night, and the light and temperature are perfect.

We absolutely loved our time at Puertas del Cielo. It was like a holiday from our holiday. The cabin is perfectly designed to make the most of the stunning views from every angle, with plenty of light and sunshine. It was huge and spacious, and really nice to unpack and spread out a bit. We loved sitting on the sunny balcony, we had everything we need to make coffee, tea, cook a meal etc. It is a 10 minute drive into Cachi but we honestly had to drag ourselves away from the cabin because it was so cosy and relaxing. The shower was hot, the bed was comfy and Malvina is one of the sweetest hosts we've ever had!
