I really enjoyed our stay at the Merino cottage, it was a charming place and so quiet, so pristine! Not only was the house in a beautiful remote spot but it was also beautiful inside and very comfortable. The host provided everything we needed for a wonderful breakfast: farm eggs, milk, juice, bread and coffee. Pip, our host, was absolutely lovely and very understanding. We had a last-minute setback with a cancelled flight, and she kindly allowed us an extra 30 minutes past checkout time to get organised.

The tiny house was perfect everything you need in the kitchen, comfy bed and really good shower. The location was amazing in the forest surrounded by nature and wallabies just wandering around. The best thing about it were the hosts, Barry and Venessa - father and daughter team, they were so welcoming and we had some great chats with them and they brought scones and jam!!! Very knowledgeable about the area and really fun to talk to - would go back just to see them again - thanks so much

Lovely place right by the river, Brad (and Charlie 🐶) was super friendly and welcoming host. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use on the river as well which was an unexpected bonus. Place was very clean and tidy. Had everything you need for a getaway. Perfect stopover for me on my way west. Only thing to note is the 5km on the gravel/dirt road and the driveway coming into the place is a bit bumpy/hard on little cars.
