The best part of the place is the amazing view. The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.

I stayed here alone for two nights and it was absolutely perfect! A big thank you to the hosts, Sebastian and Kelly, for organizing everything and taking such good care of me. The place is ideal if you want to relax and connect with nature — it’s peaceful, surrounded by greenery, and just 200mts meters from the road, right in front of Playa Angeles. It’s also super convenient to catch the bus, so getting around is no problem at all. Everything in the description is accurate and clearly explained. Highly recommended!

The location and the atmosphere. We arrived, both feeling ill and exhausted from the lost city trek and couldn’t have wished for a better place to recover. Alix and Breece welcomed us with open arms, prepared food and drinks to make us feel beter and we recovered fully in their wonderful and remote paradise. Would recommend it to any one, definitely our highlight of Colombia.

We loved our stay here. Very clean room and room service was very fast and the food was delicious. Deymer the manager was very accommodating. I had left my passport in my room after I left for Santa Marta and he organised a taxi to drop it to my new hostel. Excellent stay at Buricata Hostel and I would definitely recommend. Also, free coffee!

Amazing place to stay if you’re planning to visit Tayrona park (15 min walk by foot to the entrance). The amenities are new and everything was very clean and comfortable. The highlight of our trip was the massage we had booked at the hotel - exactly what we needed after a whole day of hiking. I would say it was one of the best massages in my life! Mary and Angie are very professional and even helped me with a locked muscle that was hurting since forever during the massage. After the massage you can also enjoy the jacuzzi and delicious dinner at the property.
