I agree with the praise: incredible location- waking up by the awakening jungle in the morning- spotting tucans, colobries, monkeys, over coffee i- it felt very safe and at the same time like an adventure out, it felt like a sleepover in a (luxury!)treehouse…designed with an eye for beauty, using natural resources. We stayed longer then intended. The shower was lovely and lush, providing refreshment in the tropical climate. It is best suited for people who travel by car (4x4) ways are short but lead up gravel roads. James pointed us to great locations, encouraging to explore more authentic and remote corners of the area - drawing maps, pointing us towards lovely local friends and the best beaches, hidden gems and sodas - it added a sense of authenticity to the well-branded ‘pura vida gringo beach vibe’ of the coast. Even our teenage daughter who was sceptical at first really loved it. Recommended! ❤️

This place exceeded our expectations by far from every angle! The hosts are doing everything from their hearts, the breakfast was exceptional, the villas are clean and beautifully designed and there are resident sloths living in the premises (how cool is that!). Private access to the nearest beach, a serene pool and stargazing area and coffee brought to the villa's balcony in the mornings were also great bonuses. We loved every minute of our stay!

Miguel and Marta were lovely hosts. Friendly & very helpful. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. House was very clean, and the whole property had a safe, family friendly atmosphere, and their dog is so so sweet. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature, completely surrounded by jungle noises. Would absolutely recommend. Good value for the price. Location is a bit of a walk from town, but our hosts gave us bikes to use free of charge! Amazing

This was the best place I have ever stayed in Costa Rica. I was VERY pleased with the kindness of the hosts, the amenities, and the location. I felt very safe here. As a single female traveler, that is very important to me. For the price that I paid to stay here, I was not expecting to be this satisfied. It was VERY clean, and felt new/updated. I cannot be more grateful that I came across this place!

The house is very nice with a beautiful veranda with hammock. From the veranda you have a nice view of the jungle. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works well. The hosts are very nice and they have a lovely and very friendly dog and a cat. One of the hosts dropped me off in town after checkout, great service!
