This place was a dream and we would be happy to come back some time. We saw the northern lights right from our yard several nights - this just makes aurora hunting so much easier. You can watch the sunsets right from the couch. Time seems to stand still beautifully by the lake there :)

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We loved every second of it. We came with our dogs and they were in heaven. The frozen lake is in front of it and you can explore the surroundings for beautiful sceneries during winter. We even found hills for using sledges and had the time of our lives, we felt like children again. The airport is close to the location but there was no noise coming from it. We had a lot of kitchen supplies, from toasters, mixers to waffle maker. Very responsive host and communicative. We will definitely come back if we will ever be in Finland

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is amazing. Very large open spaces. Great and helpful hosts. Town and activities nearby. Ruka ski resort is also - 28 min drive. I am sure anyone who stays at the place would enjoy it, be it summer or winter.

This is a lovely cozy cabin situation right beside a lake. There was parking right outside the cabin which made getting our luggage into the cabin very easy. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and also had an amazing sauna which felt sooo good on those very cold nights. The cabin also has a fireplace. The beds are really comfortable. Checking in was simple and our host was very helpful with the necessary instructions. This cabin had strong wifi which allowed us to keep in touch with our online friends.

Brilliant location with only one other cottage nearby., easy to find with good directions. I combined my work trip with pleasure. Only an easy 10 minute drive to the centre. On the edge of a frozen lake, very peaceful. There was everything provided to make the stay very comfortable. Nice little touches such as blankets & knitting basket added to the experience. Beds were comfortable, we didn’t use the sauna so can’t comment on that. All in all highly recommended and would love to stay in the summertime

Very well equipped, clean and comfortable house. Enough room for 8 people, two toilets, nice sauna, seperate lockable cabin just outside the doors to store the skis. Fireplace and big TV. Well equipped kitchen. Cross country ski track is just outside the window. We are returning here second year in row and will return next year as well.

Excellent location near Ruka Village and east Ruka. Great sunset viewing spot just a few min drive away. Surrounded by nature. Cozy little cabin with fireplace and sauna which were both used frequently in the cold weather. Incredible value for money. We had a minor glitch with our linen but the owner was extremely responsive and sorted it out straight away; he even called us to follow up everything was going ok, we felt very looked after. The apartment is exactly as pictured.

This was a lovely and cozy holiday home for our time exploring the area. The house was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the big windows and view. The layout was open and welcoming, perfect for quality family time. The sauna and fireplace were nice, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything that we needed to cook our meals. The location was excellent for exploring the region and we were able to easily access everything for our stay. The Wifi worked well during our stay and we were able to work and play as needed.

The cabin was clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything for cooking we could want and more! The beds were comfortable and the sauna was hot!!! Location was great!! We saw amazing northern lights right outside!! It was such a cozy place to stay and the staff was really nice!! They greeted us and had the cabin nice and warm on arrival!
