We recently stayed at this fantastic holiday cottage with a group of eight friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! The host is incredibly laid-back and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage is cleverly divided into two parts: one for sleeping and one for chilling. This layout worked perfectly for us, offering both comfort and space. The view from the cottage is stunning, with beautiful scenery all around. During the day, you can hear the gentle sound of cowbells, adding to the idyllic countryside ambiance. Privacy is well-respected here, and we had plenty of it. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. They even let us borrow a pétanque set, which provided hours of fun. Parking was no issue at all; we easily parked all five cars and two motorbikes. We never had any disturbances from the neighbors, making it a peaceful retreat. Overall, this holiday cottage is perfect for groups looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Highly recommended

A good base for skiing in Avoriaz. 15 minutes drive to Ardent lift. 10 minutes to Morzine or Les Gets. The property is small but perfectly functional for a family of 3 or 4. Upstairs has 2 separate bedrooms with a double bed and 2 singles. Downstairs a small open plan kitchen / dining area and a separate small shower room and WC.

The perfect home from home. So brilliantly located - we spent wonderful late afternoons/early evenings having drinks in the square with the kids running about making new friends. Could walk to everything from the house if needed. It’s really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking/washing/living. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The owner Anne is absolutely lovely and went out of her way to help us after we had an issue with our car which meant our travel plans had to completely change. She’s brilliant. A total hero! We were two families with three kids in total and the house worked so well for us all. Great socialising space and lots of bathrooms so no rush in the mornings! We came for some spring skiing and for the kids to start their skiing adventure (would highly recommend ZigZag ski school.. definitely the best option in Samoens) and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I adored visiting the Wednesday morning market and cooking up a feast in the great kitchen with all the goodies I bought. There is also a really lovely vegetable shop in the square with some other basics and a few small supermarkets within very easy walking distance. I read one review that said it was tricky to get from the house to ski school on time without a car. We found it very easy. Simply catch the 08:29 blue bus from outside the cinema (5 mins walk to the bus stop) and get off at the GME lift. We left our skis and boots at Xtreme Glisse by the GME lift each day where they have heated boots storage. So that you don’t have to carry them to and fro. This worked really well for us and still allowed plenty of time to get to 1600m for 09:15 for the start of ski school, even whilst wrangling 2 toddlers and a 9yr old into their kit! We hope to be back to stay here again and again.

Laure the owner was there to welcome us. such warm hospitality. we had fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning. the location was brilliant to access the ski slopes. the facilities excellent, hot tub and sauna were such a bonus after a day skiing. HIGHLY recommend - if you want a warm friendly welcome and a lovely place to stay then choose here
