The lodge is a great distance to Windermere and Ulverston and just a short drive on an A Road off the M6. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and very accommodating in terms of amenities one may need to use. Lovely surroundings and very peaceful during the day and at night - great for privacy. Would love to stay again.

A charming cottage with beautiful views, on a main road but minimal noise from cars and tractors. A beautiful stunning location in Cartmel , we attended the races which was a very short walk away , truly a great day out . Close enough to lake Windermere and Bowness to visit . The cottage was clean comfortable and a lovely gift of Prosecco was received very well , thank you ! We would stay again x

It was a self catering lodge which is why we chose it. It’s a stunning lodge with all the facilities needed. Lots of personal touches that make it a bit more special. And to top it all the weather was perfect too.

Excellent level of comfort and cleanliness. The cottage was warm and cosy, with effective central heating, good shower. Beds and lounges were all very comfortable. Location, right in the middle of Cartmel, was excellent both for local pubs and places to eat, as well as a great base for fell walking /running.

Perfect location just a very short walk from the Village. Cottage was very clean, cosy and very well equipped. Owners very accommodating. Had a perfect few days away and would definitely recommend Causeway Cottage and will be on the list when we visit Cartmel again.
