My recent stay at Villas Scirocco place was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Elpida ( the host) herself welcomed us with warm hospitality and delightful treats, including her homemade marmalade and wine. This personal touch set the tone for our entire stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and precisely as described on Booking.com. The attention to detail in maintaining the place was evident, contributing to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of this retreat is its prime location. Situated very close to Fira and the sea, it offers convenient access to local attractions while providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Whether you're looking to explore the vibrant town or enjoy a serene seaside day, everything is just a short distance away. Elpida's kindness and attentiveness made our stay truly memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this lovely place for anyone seeking a delightful and comfortable stay near Fira.

We’ve traveled to 23 countries as a family, but we’ve never experienced such warmth and genuine hospitality like we did here. Yanis and his mother are truly wonderful hosts. The room design, the option to have a heated pool, the size of the pool, and the floating breakfast — everything was just perfect. Yanis helped us with everything from transfers to car rental and local tips on where to go. Our son absolutely loved it, and when we wanted to extend our stay, Yanis solved it all within hours. His mother even gave us and our son the sweetest little gifts — such a thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us. We left already dreaming of coming back. This place is truly special and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The property is perfect for families. The pool is small and shallow which was great for our young kids, plus it’s closed off so our kids were in their own safe space whilst swimming. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. Views from the room are perfect for sunsets and it’s nice to have a safe private space to watch the sunset as a family. Restaurants and supermarkets are also very close walking distance.

Everything. The location is perfect; very close to the city yet far from the noise. The property is clean and has everything you’ll need, the staff is exceptional (very welcoming and helpful), and the really big private pool makes it an absolute value for money. We’ll definitely book this property again next time we’re on Santorini. I’m not even going to mention the spectacular view you get, because words can’t do justice.

We stayed at Cally Cave House Sept 16 - 19 2025. The room/apartment was huge with 1 big bed and 2 single beds. 2 bathrooms. Everything worked as to be expected. The thing that made this stay special was the manager Vasilis. He picked us up from the airport for free. He drove us to Fira city center 2 or 3 times. No charge. When our ferry was canceled due to a storm, he arranged for a hotell for us because his was fully booked. He drove us there and again refused us to pay for the trip. He kept us updated about the ferry next day. A man with a truely good hart. My stay at Aliter was simply amazing! The location of the hotel was ideal for me, it was very close to the airport so on my last day I was not worried about the commute. The hotel also offered a free shuttle ride to and from Fira town daily at selected hours, this made getting around so easy for me considering I was a solo traveller. My room was spectacular, so spacious with a great view of the landscape and I could walk out right into the pool area. The amazing staff made my stay even better, Ria, Mary, Antonia and the two lovely ladies that made breakfast for the guests every morning. The breakfast menu had plenty of options to pick from, I would definitely recommend not skipping the greek yoghurt! It was delicious!
